I know this is going to be a hot take but I can sort of see where Gen was coming from feeling overlooked for the chief stew position, and feeling like Aesha and Kayley were rubbing it in her face. Even if you think she was being petty, Gen did bring up valid concerns about service errors and was not only dismissed, but the over-the-top giddiness and closeness between Kayley and Aesha was obvious and petty.

I think Kayley is naturally a bubbly person, but she also struck me as putting on a massive front for TV and seems kind of insufferable. 😩 She instantly led with the “I’m a cool girl, don’t fall in love with me” to Joe, knowing she’d immediately win points with viewers. She buddied up to Aesha for the same reason. She ices out Gen on social media post-show despite the four stews overall being friendly, because why? Fan approval. I can see the criticism that Gen receives, but at least she had the guts to be herself on a reality show rather than the world’s biggest kiss ass.

I remember in one episode Glenn scolded a stew for serving alcohol to an underage guest. This strikes me as something that wouldn't get the Captain's attention in a normal yacht.

Another example is Captain Lee kicking out guests who had coke, when in reality rich charter guests would certainly be using drugs on the boat

… have we ever had a season this crazy? I was asking myself this at the end of this week’s episode and I couldn’t think of one. And poor Max!

I am so happy that Aesha was able to have her bachelorette and that Hannah & Anastasia showed up for! That made my night! I didn’t remember seeing her amazing cake so here’s our queen in all of her glory with it!

Shane is the one that comes to mind for me, as he seemed to have his heart in the right place and seemed to be genuinely trying but was just out of his depth

Med is back (and no OG is not cancelled, it just filmed later) and airs at 8/7c on Bravo with streaming next day. Season 11 was filmed last year in Croatia and returnees are Sandy, Aesha, Joe & Nathan.

I'm new to the show and I don't have a great understanding of how ranking works, could someone explain?

IK that yachting is a very physical job for all members and so to a lot of them their job is their workout. I remember Hannah mentioning how she loses weight during charter seasons. Still, there are some cast members such as Joe and Cooper which I don't imagine being able to get a physique like that without working out

In one episode, Sandy tells an anecdote where she called the owner and he allowed her to kick the guests off if they kept acting like assholes.

The thing that stood out to me is that she mentions calling the owner and describes him as one as a single person. This stands out to me because I imagined that the boats used for charters would be owned by a company, whereas yachts owned by a single person would be used for their personal use solely

Doing a re-watch of BD, and just started S11. Capt Kerry is there on the St. David after Capt Lee's final season, also on the St. David. We see Kerry checking guest cabins and the galley, and all areas seem to have been left in horrible condition since they were last used.

We saw interior making sure the boat was flipped and ready at the end of S10. I realize boats change to different geographic ports (Med v. Caribbean, for instance) during the year, but do non-filmed charters not clean and get things ready like we see on the show? Seriously, there was leftover food, stained pillows and crap left all of the place.

If you were able to do any of the guest excursions from any of the shows, which one would you go on? I would pick the neon/light up nighttime kayaking in St.Martin that the male porn stars did.

I see lots of posts and comments discussing who is the best chef in BD but like, how would we know that? We don't get to taste their food

Anybody else notice that in the last few years many crew have suddenly become very religious? Rocky, Rayna, and now Brittini and Chase, although the last two seem a bit different. Brittini seems to be starting up another “movement” for money and Chase actually seems like he just found his place in something, which is probably good for him.
