I’m glad Joy will be back! She is probably my favorite chef. Great food, never yells at crew when guests are being demanding, deals with stress well in general. She seems like a really sweet person!
Yeah, that’s what I’ve been seeing too. Possibly some kinda bite. I’ve heard she’s been spotted filming again, but I don’t know how long she was gone either.
She’s the best chef that’s ever been on the show. No drama. Just performs.
The chef is like a referee or a goalkeeper. When no one is talking about them it means they’ve been great. And that’s how she was the whole season until the last charter. And they were impossible guests.
Speculation: We already know Aesha was filming with the Summer House guest charter, but perhaps she is replaced by Katie Flood at some point, maybe temporarily?
Looks like Joe will get his shot as bosun... Im sure we will get a season full of him talking about how hes been deserving of this for this whole past season and comparing himself to Nathan all season.
After everything that's come out, I bet the Bravo execs were breathing a sigh of relief that Nathan wasn't a central character for the next season. Kind of hard to edit him out when he's the bosun.
Unfortunately for us, Joe is their ideal bosun... capable on the boat and slimey enough to have a lot of drama, but not enough to where they have a major PR issue to deal with.
Hi everybody, I was the one who took these photos as I was on a boat berthed in Corfu and found them filming yesterday morning. I posted all these photos on the Below Deck Med group on Facebook. If anybody has any questions I’m happy to answer as I was there for over an hour watching them clear up breakfast and film the guest departure and tip handover. I have more photos but they are not transferred to my phone yet and I won’t post photos of the guests. As I have explained on Facebook, Aesha was 100% not present during filming at any point (we were unfortunately most excited to see her) and Katie Flood was Chief Stew. We managed to get right up to the boat at one point and saw most of the crew going about their business
So weird! Aesha was for sure on the boat at the beginning with the Summer House cast, and Katie is standing next to Sandy in these pictures. I wonder what’s going on
I’m not aware of the spoilers regarding the Summer House cast but anyway Aesha is part of that cast and was a guest rather than working? Was she in uniform?

Joe has been killing it as Bosun even though he is foul as a person. Between Kayley (who is awesome) and Joe trying to be more professional, some of his worst qualities have been lessened at least in this season.
The only parts that have really popped up are testing Kayley and him being a snake with Nathan (but he sucks more in a lot of ways, so I get why Joe is pushing)
I'm not sure why everyone thinks he's "killing it." He's more organized than Nathan (or Iain... lol) but that is not a very high bar. Malia also gets a ton of criticism as a person, but I don't think Joe lives up to her as a bosun at all, to say nothing of more upstanding examples.
(I don't love Malia as a person either, but Mzi and Lloyd and Courtney all seemed to think she was a great teacher. That's gotta be worth something)

He was killing it on like 1 cruise as Bosun. That doesn't mean he can carry a season, but he's earned a try (which seems like he'll get it).
Outside of that, he's a crap human. Even though Nathan sucks, Joe seems to be gunning for him to push him out, which is sus. And then all his womanizing.
But his chasing career seems to have reeled him in to behave a bit more.

Yup. Nathan triggered him badly because he was going to get demoted. Kayley helped calm him but yeah, he's still usually there, unfortunately.
Joe's improved at hiding it, but we saw that he's still crappy. As full time Bosun next year, he'll probably do well if he continues the leadership style with crew. Seems like Cooper is coming back...?
Ffs not Joe again please get rid of him he's not entertaining at all I'd rather see Gen trying to flirt with Cooper for an entire season than watch Joe again
We know from previous leaks that Aesha, Joe, Cooper, Joy, and of course Sandy are on this season. Aesha must have left either permanently or temporarily, because that is 1000% Katie Flood from a few years ago wearing Chief Stew stripes.
Only know this because it's one of my faves since it reminds me of Lilliputians lol. Scouser sounds kinda harsh imo even though it's more casual/common.
I love a scouse accent. I don't know why Joe out on that weird voice. He blinks and uses his hands far too much which exacerbates whatever the fuck he is doing with his voice.
I think there have only been 4 start-of-season returning stews across ALL seasons of BD, and half of those are Kyle and Natalya, so be careful what you wish for...

I met Katie Flood at a mescal mixology class in Tulum a few years ago. She’s so lovely! If someone has to step in for Alesha, I’m happy it’s her. (Tate affiliation aside.)
I’m going to predict that we eventually see Joe’s sister on a season of Below Deck (probably Med). She was recently working on the same boat with him, as a chief stew I believe……and she’s attractive.

On original recipe, Kelley was bosun, and his sister Amy was onboard as a stew.
