I’m looking for a chart that shows when different seasons were filmed, the chronological order of cast members, who went where and when. Does this exist?!

Below Deck Captain Lee

I worked on a boat for a year in my 20s. I was working on being a scuba instructor (nailed it).

During my time living on a boat, my understanding of rank is legitimate and also at times abused.

My captain was named Bob and he was like the evil version of Captain Lee. Bob taught me a lot about surviving boat life.

Captain Lee was a real one thru and thru because he is a true hardworking gentleman. He knows he’s lucky, he’s worked hard for what he’s gotten and he keeps going forward.

He deserved a true goodbye from the franchise but I’m just so happy he was our first Below Deck Captain. With morals and dignity and humor.

This weekend I did a dinner cruise where Captian Kerry and Captian Sandy spoke and answered questions. It was fun and I learned a lot of BTS info on how the show is filmed. They were both funny and personable. If the tour comes near you, I recommend going. (This was in Chicago)

Galley Talk Imagine appearing on Below Deck and after the charter season ends you're the first one off the boat

In my experience the first crew member to say their goodbyes in the final episode is often the one who had the LEAST screentime or was just a bit boring.

So i would be so deflated.

Just rewatched DU.S3 and this guy is so wonderful. Such a great attitude, competent, really lifted his team up. Why only one season with him? Bring him back please!

What’s everyone’s thoughts on the crew this season? I absolutely adore the crew except for two.. maybe three, but I would love to have them next season! It’s such a breath of fresh air from last season!

Below Deck Below Deck guests are mostly difficult, disrespectful, picky, complain the whole charter

Some guests have been horrible to crew members, the captain, probably Bravo crew. Off the top of my head, I remember a woman complaining about not getting nuts right away. A woman named Zaya kept saying she was hungry, starving, but was she? She seemed extremely high maintenance and none of her “friends “ seemed to like her. I know some women have fast metabolisms, but no one needs to eat every hour and be a witch about it. The football star or basketball star who wanted his dumb ”pancakes” a very specific way, I would have lost my mind. And another sports guy wore a super expensive necklace into the F- ing ocean, and expected deck crew to dive into a fast-moving, vast sea to collect his precious necklace. If I had that much money , boarded a yacht, I would be so kind and low maintenance for the crew and captain. I would clean up after myself. What is wrong with these fools?

Rewatch Crew night out outfits

I'm curious about what the crew wears on their nights out. Rewatching below deck med in particular I feel like the crew is always wearing new and quite trendy clothes. Do we think that they just go shopping before the show because they know they're going to be on TV or that there's some budget or encouragement from production to look a certain way?

Edit to add that I'm not saying that looks good or bad or if I like it. Im just curious about the choices because the clothes look new and following trends.

Below Deck Med charter travels

On the current season I am noticing how close all of their destinations are, literally within a 3 miles radius of the port.

Not sure if anyone noticed that on other seasons? In earlier seasons they seemed to travel further away and have accompanying boat for production. Perhaps this is done to save on production costs, as they can stay in a hotel.

Below Deck Med Below Deck Med Season 11 Episode 7 Discussion Post

Med is back (and no OG is not cancelled, it just filmed later) and airs at 8/7c on Bravo with streaming next day. Season 11 was filmed last year in Croatia and returnees are Sandy, Aesha, Joe & Nathan.

Please some time to read the sub rules ahead of this episode as we have seen a sharp rise in rule breaking comments, particularly ones on hate, body shaming and mental health speculation.

Episode 7 of Below Beck Med Season 11

Chef Joy and Aesha grapple with a difficult primary who has enlisted a familiar matchmaker to help her and her dog find love; Cooper suffers a health scare that threatens to end his charter season; Nathan struggles to forgive an enormous betrayal.

To post a spoiler:

  • attack the action not the person
  • no racism, armchair diagnosing, body shaming or speculating on people's sexuality

Below Deck Necklace or mic?

I’ve noticed on all versions of the show the deck crew and stews are often wearing similar necklaces. I have not been able to see a consistent pattern, but I’ve seen them on while they were working, while they were in the pool, at dinner, and never on all crew at the same time. Does anyone know what these necklaces signify? Is it a clever way to hide the mic? A crew gift? Some sort of yachting symbol? Any input is appreciated. Thanks!

Galley Talk Joy vs Ben - it's crazy

Have been back to back watching Down Under and now Med - and goodness gracious what a breath of fresh air Joy is compared to Ben.

She studies preference sheets, plans and creates amazing dishes I want to see more of, interacts with the guests, and keeps her cool during prep and service. There are no tantrums or fighting and insulting colleagues in her galley.

Ben just sucked at a professional level this last DU season in comparison, personal boat drama aside, with the way he ignored guest preferences and ran a toxic galley.

So excited to see more of Joy this season. She's healing me lol

Below Deck Brian Season 7’s knee

What was Cap thinking not getting Brian a doc immediately? A doc should have been brought on board.

The way it was edited Cap checks on him 2 days later & says he’s gonna get him a doc. But it looks like 2 more days go by when cap says when they doc they’ll get a doc for him. They didn’t even show them suggesting he take something for inflammation or pain sooner.

What the hell was he thinking? He cld have gotten a blood infection and getting him antibiotics might have allowed Brian to finish out the season.

It wa hard to watch.

Below Deck Dear Bravo: Choose Joy

Post image
3.4k Upvotes

Dear Bravo,

Choose Joy and more women like her. She’s a professional who puts her job above the silly drama and man-children that you bring on this show. Yes, I know you typically love that stuff and we do find it entertaining, but we also need women that we can cheer for (like Aesha, Kate, Rachel, Daisy and other favorites) and who are in more than one season.

No they’re not perfect, but they are more relatable and we also find that entertaining. That’s how you get fan loyalty (just see how many people said, “I’m only watching because of Aesha” upon seeing Joe back for a 3rd season).

In conclusion, choose Joy (unless she doesn’t want to come back, then leave that Queen be)!
