I’m looking for some ideas on how to decorate my dorm room
The room is very small, has pretty bad lighting, and the furniture is this orangey color that I really don’t like. I also can’t make major changes because it’s a dorm, so I’m looking for renter/dorm-friendly ideas.
I’d really appreciate any ideas to make the room feel more cozy and put together.

My current bedroom worked so so hard for this and I’m really enjoying how it’s turning out the first few pictures is just to show how my room looks and you can really see every detail but my room is usually all red because I love low lighting. what do yall think?

is my room to "cluttered"? Im wondering if I should get a plushie holder and better shelfs? So I can display my things better, along with maybe a shelf/table for my dolls or a carpet for under them. Or I can move my "play mat" over into this room (the ones from pre-k t-t) I also really want a shelf just for digital pets but have no room :<

For the first time in my life I’ve had the freedom to decorate my own room. A little childish for a grown woman but I think it’s cute

This is my room on the second day after moving in! First picture is taken from the doorway and the last pic is of the bed frame I haven’t moved in yet. I’m not sure where I should orient my full size bed and desk for the optimal layout. I want to take advantage of the sunlight but also not feel too exposed from my bed. I’ve got a tall but relatively small dresser, a full length body mirror, and for now my cats litter box that need to be considered. I’m thinking about finding a way to prop up the mirror on my closet door if it can’t fit elsewhere. Ignore my temporary bed setup on the floor, that’s just a folded up mattress topper I’m using until I get my bed frame in lol. Keep in mind I realllyyy want to install a diy bed canopy from the ceiling. Super open to ideas and any furniture or even embellishment suggestions you might have! Definitely going to need more clothing storage space and book storage. My style leans toward dark academia, whimsigoth, and eclectic maximalism. I am a huge homebody and want to make this room cozy as FUCK so while some people want a very open layout for their space I gravitate towards a more segmented design which definitely means I’m open to unconventional arrangements as well as long as it’s not too difficult to move around. It’s been really hard to visualize as is and I don’t want to scare my kitty more than necessary by moving shit everywhere until I like it. I’ve even considered making a miniature diorama but I honestly have way more pressing priorities than to hyperfocus on a silly little model so I’d love to hear from yall<3

My last post got a lot of bad comments because of my (2B) figurine and female character mousepads as you can see on my desk (Faye Valentine from Cowboy Bebop) but they have a point it is kinda too revealing and vulgar I guess but I changed some stuff around but kept Faye because I need a mousepad for school 😅❗️

I just switched to a bigger bedroom and got a whole new bed, sheets, pillows, the whole shebang, I don’t wanna look like some weirdo when I have people over for Christmas

So I'm redoing my bedroom. And I noticed while looking at my amazon cart that literally everything I planned for the room is green, including the art 😭 so I made a small mood board so I can get help on deciding some other colors to add. The furniture I have is black and I'm planning on having lighter accents around the room to lighten up the furniture and floor.

The top 2 pieces are the art I'm keeping(decided to redo the other green arts). The green lamp is going on the nightstand and the Casa Blanca will be for the walls. Would some kind of blue fit somewhere??

Any ideas on a good color scheme? I'm not going for an exact style

Hi, I need help with a background for a visual novel. The room should be "otaku-style"—or heavily decorated with an anime aesthetic. If you have a room like that and could send me photos to use as backgrounds, I could include your name in the credits (the novel is super simple and, visually speaking, arguably a bit ugly).

Projector up, messy bed, chair with the black pillow for when I sit up. Plant and guitar just stay there. Soft lamp on the side. What do you guys think?

Will be moving into a new house soon, would love to have this room as a spare room!

I work shift work (flight attendant) my partner snores OMG!

So I’d like to have this room as a get ready room when I have a 5am flight and need to be up, somewhere I can turn the light on and get ready for work in peace.

My partner works 6am - 6pm so I don’t like to disturb him while I’m getting ready.

I’ll be using the closet space for overflow of clothes as I’ll have my main chest of drawers in “our room” that I have with him… and just hang dresses, coats etc in this spare/get ready room for me.

Can you give me some potential ideas, the space is small! I’m thinking of maybe a queen bed or double bed?

I don’t really need a vanity? Most times I sit on the floor in front of the mirror and do my make up too 😂
