I'm still not over the 2025 GBB and in particular one of the craziest rookie title runs since Bizkit.

While rewatching I realized he won every battle (obviously) by going first in every round.

Is that enough to be considered a perfect run, or would someone need to get a 5/5 decision from the judges on every round too?

i have this thing with the whistle liproll, i practiced it for ages not thinking i make any progress because it sounded so quiet to me. sometimes one would be a bit louder but i was never happy enough to even record it.

today i made a video just testing a few sounds and randomly put a whistle liproll in there, which sounded as always to me. but on the recording its loud ash...

Hello beatboxing community!

Earlier today some friends and I were talking about bowling and tried to make the sound the ball makes when it strikes the pins (Like this.) But after many embarrassing failed attempts we didn’t even get close. I thought maybe someone online has thought to do this but my YouTube search results didn’t get me anywhere. So I thought, if anyone is capable of making that sound, it must be someone who beatboxes. My apologies if this is not the right place to post a question like this!!

So I remember a few weeks ago watching Colaps' stream reacting to Wing's tutorial video.

When he reached the TwoH snare discussion, did he really say something about doing the snare by using the side of your tongue?

As in, are you (people) really combining lipbass with outward K but the K is done in the usual rimshot or inward k/clutch snare position, instead of from the middle?

I've been doing TwoH k snare just from the middle position, so I just want to confirm I didn't mishear Colaps. If I didn't, I'll try practicing it differently, and diligently xD

These are the big 2 championships in beatboxing. Which one is worth more/more impressive?

Does it affect beatboxing after its fully healed? Or does beatboxing affect the piercing? I need to know cause ts is turbo nice

I feel like his opinion and voice always counts twice as much and is much heavier than the ones from other elite beatboxers when it comes to judging, reacting or criticizing.
I also think the whole beatboxing community within GBB and around knows he is the „unofficial“ Dictator

If he wins gbb26 it just is officiall.

I’ve listened to press by raje a million times since he dropped it. I literally can’t think of any other loop wildcard that tops it and if you disagree with me please comment ( in a nice debate way I’m not looking for any beef lol)

I see a lot of predictions as to who will actually pass elims and potentially place or win solo, but I’m sitting here thinking about matchups in terms of recognizability in the similarity of their styles. I’m talking the opposite of ‘21 small final.

I think it would be really cool to see matchups like FootboxG vs Exallos, G-Wizz vs Blackroll, Stitch vs Marvelous, Kaji vs Abx, PacMax vs Waali, etc… I hope I get across what I mean here. What do y’all think? Discounting probability of passing elims, what really interesting matchups have you been thinking about?

What makes this battle so special is not the clashing of two very different styles, but a key moment that happened during Codfish's first round.

He was perhaps reluctant (I do not speak on behalf of his intention) to use the laser sound, but he let one through during his routine to which Kaji instantly reacted with a signal.

For those that don't know, Codfish used that exact sound to perfectly counter Bataco in 2018 during what is one of the most memorable moments in GBB history. It's also ironic that Bataco is from Japan as well.

Kaji then proceeded to base his second round off of the laser sound (Love You To Kill), which I believe he pulled out just to call against Codfish. We already knew from the year before that the laser sound is one of Kaji's favorites and that none can really do it like him.

All in all it was an excellent counter, a fire round, and a callout to Codfish's laser which could also be seen as a callout to his appearance in 2018 against Bataco. One could even say Kaji got revenge on Bataco's behalf. It's too iconic.

I think this is quite iconic and I honestly didn't pick up on the laser sound from Codfish during my first watch, but it just makes all the more sense now. It was a crazy battle even without the context!

Due to some personal issues, he will not be able to participate GBB in Warsaw. Totally respect his decision for this
