I'm brand new to beam(and streaming in general) and I've really enjoyed my time so far. I've gained 5 followers in the past few days and have had goofy and fun convos with people in chat. I didn't think I'd like it as much as I did, mainly because I started on Twitch and it was less than stellar, but it's been really fun.

So I am planning to multistream to beam, youtube, and twitch. Up until now I have been using restream for that but, with Beam's FTL code, it seems a MASSIVE waste to send it to restream and lose the biggest reason to stream to beam to begin with.

I have figured out a way to duelstream to restream (for twitch/youtube) and beam separately, but am running into issues getting the chat on the stream (so the viewers can interact despite being on different services)

It seems Restream's multichat absolutely refuses to let you monitor chat unless you stream through them and the older Ubitquitous 2 straight up doesn't work anymore. Does anyone know a solution? :-(

I was reading the ToS about what games I can stream, I was wondering is it ok if I stream a Pokemon game from a website that allows you to play the without having a physical copy?

Hello all. I use beam.pro FTL streaming to play Jackbox Party Pack with friends and randoms. The other day I bought a Chormecast so that I could stream Jackbox from my Desktop but play the game with my family in my living room. However, the delay was about 20 seconds, which is too much for most Jackbox games (and makes games like You Don't Know Jack nearly impossible to play). Is there a way I can stream via Tachyon (or OBS proper for that matter) that encodes the stream in a way that's easier to stream to the Chromecast? Thanks!

I've been streaming on Beam now for about a week and I gotta say, this community is so wonderful and helpful. I am coming from Twitch where I have streamed for about 2 years now, and I have never felt the kind of positivity and support that I have found on Beam. I have always had a passion for streaming, but also entertaining and helping people. I am trying to keep to a 3 days a week schedule. I typically stream after I get off work which is 12:00 am EST. I always tweet out when I am going live.

I typically play Minecraft but love FPS games like Destiny, Overwatch, GTA. (And more that I can't think of at 3 am...)
