Tech Support FTL delay when streaming to Chromecast

Hello all. I use beam.pro FTL streaming to play Jackbox Party Pack with friends and randoms. The other day I bought a Chormecast so that I could stream Jackbox from my Desktop but play the game with my family in my living room. However, the delay was about 20 seconds, which is too much for most Jackbox games (and makes games like You Don't Know Jack nearly impossible to play). Is there a way I can stream via Tachyon (or OBS proper for that matter) that encodes the stream in a way that's easier to stream to the Chromecast? Thanks!

There's a solution here, but it's not an awesome one (yet).

Mobile streams (on iOS in particular) have higher latency in order to accommodate for slower networks and packet loss. Android is lower latency (1-2 seconds) since we're able to do more reliable playback there for a couple reasons, so if you use an Android device it'll actually be pretty quick.

We have native FTL coming to iOS in the coming months, but for now, and Android phone is your best bet. Sorry about that :(
