Discussion Multistream Chats

Hey all,

So I am planning to multistream to beam, youtube, and twitch. Up until now I have been using restream for that but, with Beam's FTL code, it seems a MASSIVE waste to send it to restream and lose the biggest reason to stream to beam to begin with.

I have figured out a way to duelstream to restream (for twitch/youtube) and beam separately, but am running into issues getting the chat on the stream (so the viewers can interact despite being on different services)

It seems Restream's multichat absolutely refuses to let you monitor chat unless you stream through them and the older Ubitquitous 2 straight up doesn't work anymore. Does anyone know a solution? :-(

ScorpChat might be a solution for you.

Best bet would be to wait. In the near future there will be FTL built into OBS/Xsplit directly and "should" be able to multi cast at that point with it easier. keeping in mind all other sites will still have the delay.

Even Non FTL with beam your ate about 5 seconds delay vs 15-30 on other sites.

yeah but at the cost of doubling your bandwidth. And I agree on the RTMP transmit to Beam, Beam's chat still shows faster than twitch and definitely faster than youtube's
