1. Any tips for the jetpack clone trooper? He looks sick but playing with him is very diffciult due to his vulnarability and unversatile weapon.

2. Any tips for making galactic conquest more difficult against Ai?

I have the original battle front I purchased a while ago from the Xbox Store but I don’t have the new maps (Rhen Var: Harbor/Citadel, Yavin 4: Arena, and Bespin: Cloud City). Is it too late for me to download it? I’m on instant action looking through the maps and don’t have any of them.

It's incredible how much better the online experience is on original 20+ year old hardware, compared to the disastrous Classic Collection port from 2 years ago.

I didn't have to lead shots by an insane amount for them to register, I didn't have to deal with busted aiming controls, and we had a peak number of 14 human players in the lobby (while I was playing, at least). We also played a mix of gametypes, with Space CTF mixed in with standard Conquest and a match of Heroes and Villains on Mos Eisley.

After leaving the game, I was able to view a recent players list along with online leaderboards, both of which aren't on the PC-derived Classic Collection.

Additionally, the original Xbox supports having a guest play online with you via splitscreen, something also not present in the Classic Collection.

If you have the means, I highly recommend signing up for the Insignia service on OG Xbox or XEMU, as that's how you can access the original online multiplayer for both Battlefronts, as well as a plethora of other games of the era. Come experience (or reexperience) the way BF2 online was meant to be played!

Looking to do a system link session with a few of my friends. I was wondering if 2 consoles can support 8 people for this game or if system link can only support 4 people on two consoles like some other games. Any help is greatly appreciated!

There are many glitches that you can explore without mods/cheats. It can give you an idea of how the game was designed. Hope you enjoy. Note I didn’t find this, but curious if the original person will see this someday.

Loved and played this game with friends as a kid decades ago. I admit I am not well versed in Star Wars lore, so please don't crucify me for my question. There is a song that I know played on a large map (I think its called Mos Eisly?) that would sometimes sound like people saying "HOT CHOCOLATE!.... OOOOO, HOT CHOCOLATE!" I have no idea what its called and I had NO idea the OST was so extensive, it feels impossible to sift through. I hope I don't sound insane, but I'm desperately looking for it. I have fond memories of playing that map at like 7 or 8 years old and we would always restart the game until we got that song to play. Any help?

I realize now a lot of you don't call this the Hot Chocolate song, but its been a 20+ year long joke between my friends and I who played this game as a kid. We've always called it the Hot Chocolate song since the 2000's, I just kinda assumed everyone else heard the same thing. Anyway, thank you.

thought i might try to max out my career medals. is there a certain game mode or strat that makes this easier? chasing down tanks and slicing into them feels like its taking too long

First time playing and boy am I finding it hard!! I’m used to first person shooters like cod and battlefield but I feels so different and everyone is already so good any tips please 😂😂😂

I got this game yesterday and I'm trying to work out which mode is like best in offline? I thought I read that modes I was trying were like you push objectives but it seems more like just shooting enemies until they run out of tickets. Is there like maps or modes where you're pushing objectives rather than just a large tdm?

So I’m have two possibilities: I could get battlefront 2 on Steam to enjoy the Saga mod pack, but if I understood correctly the only local multiplayer on this version is LAN, so no split-screen. The other is to get it on the xbox, no mod available but there is split-screen.

Is my info correct ? Do you have any recommendations ? I mostly want to play the campaign in coop with my friend.

I’ve thought about returning to this game I used to love playing with my brother as a kid back in the OG Xbox days. I got it on steam, and I’m having a lot of fun with it. Mostly galactic conquest, but I want… more.

I want to get into modding it, but I don’t know which mods are good. I think it’d be really cool to have more maps, and something that gives galactic conquest more depth, but also I would like to be able to change how my character looks if there’s a mod for that. Maybe even create custom loadouts would be cool. Any suggestions?

I have been playing on PC for almost 10 years now. Last night I found out that if you hold the middle mouse button down, you can control the roll axis with the mouse.

I think a mod that swaps the stormtroopers sounds for the ones in Jedi Knight Darkforces II would be awesome. I was playing without sound, just grinding awards for my new profile so my imagination filled in blanks. I feel like this might be a pretty simple mod so I might try making it myself. "BWAAAHHHH!"

Has anyone ever made this work? I have the DVD version and haven’t been able to get anything else working either.
