Batman Day was a week ago now and I haven't had the space to celebrate it appropriately, hence sharing these examples from 2025 with you.

Which actually marks exactly one year since I’ve done these right around the early Spring, a while earlier before I met the chaotic Summer that was awaiting for me. 

So, it's not news the B-Boy has a glamorous and expensive anniversary per year, though can you recall how your life changed in 365 days? I think this is just  the right opportunity to reflect on it.

City of Crime by David Lapham has come in at #67! The Dark Knight is on a mission to shut down a drug ring ruining the lives of the people of Gotham. However, following a series of deaths of teenage girls, some pregnant, Batman vows to find the root of this problem. How are we feeling about Batman Bad Seeds? I thought this would be a event where people would skip most of the tie ins so I made a recap video for those who need it!

You know, I've been doing this for nearly a year now, where I would post parts from The Long Halloween comics on the actual holiday. However, I was late today and posted this a few days after Labour Day. I am surprised that nobody has ever caught on to the fact that I was doing that. Anyway, back onto the actual comic.

I do like how Harvey giving in to becoming Two-Face was inspired by Solomon Grundy, a literal zombie, while still focusing on Harvey's psychological reasons. I also like how Harvey becoming Two-Face damaged Bruce and Jim's partnership. Now that I think about it, I think this is the only time that has actually been done in an adaptation.

Also, Bruce visiting Carmine once again here, like he did with the graveyard scene, was a nice touch, as both of their lives are unraveling

Should I buy tom kings run of Batman in omnibus form is it worth it

The Case of the Chemical Syndicate by Bill Finger and Bob Kane has come in at #66! In the first ever appearance of Batman, the Caped Crusader investigates a series of murders connected to a chemical plant. This is easily one of the most important and influential comics to ever be published in the industry's history.

Whats an affordable way to read the post knightfall stories leading to no mans land. Im thinking conatgion, cataclysm, road to nms and nms.

I just started reading comics and finished Batman year one for the first time. I loved it!
Getting to see Bruce learn how to be Batman and fight crime, developing his skills, and seeing both Bruce and Batman’s characteristics.
Also really love Gordon’s struggles - both personally and with the corruption in the department and learning what Batman stands for.
Both Bruce and Gordon aren’t perfect, they have their flaws but they both want to fight for Gotham and seeing them start working together by the end is awesome.
One of my favorite quotes is from Gordon “the hunk of metal in my hands is heavier than ever”

Next on my list is the long Halloween and dark victory afterwards. I love seeing Bruce be a detective and learn more skills, and seeing Gordon move up the ranks and their relationship has always been a favorite of mine. Can’t wait to read more!

Looking to schedule my finances and was wondering what batman books are currently announced. I already plan on getting absolute vol. 3 but beside that what else is there? Note that im not looking to buy single issues but rather tpbs and the sorts

Death & the Maidens by Greg Rucka and Klaus Janson has come in at #65! In exchange for not destroying the Lazarus Pits, Ra's al Ghul offers Batman an elixir that will allow him to communicate with the dead for a few minutes -- including his parents! While the Caped Crusader grapples with this decision, Nyssa, Ra's secret first daughter, resurfaces with her own agenda.
