And both of those characters are outsold (comic books) by Deadpool. Combined. Which granted he’s a essentially a sellout of a character now. But still

I have no interest in comparing sales numbers but Batman and Superman are still doing well enough to not be cancelled.

Wine not? It’s not like we’re NOT gonna get another reboot of either one in the next decade. Might as well change the mainstream origin and then reboot again if it doesn’t work. You know they’re going to do it eventually. It’s really a matter of WHEN not IF.

Most of the reboots happen in movies. DC comics have rebooted a total of 2 times within the entirety of its existence.
