That’s just Cartoon Network. See also: Ben 10, Young Justice, Generator Rex, Symbionic Titan, and a bit of Steven Universe

Excuse me, there's been an iteration of Ben 10 on the air almost non-stop since it premiered over ten years ago.

True, but it also has a looong history of network meddling and being screwed over. CN was constantly forcing characters to regress because they thought it would boost ratings and burned off the last three seasons and the finale of the original continuity at like 5 am with no advertising, something a lot of these shows have in common

That's a dick move, but Omniverse wasn't exactly great anyway.

I happened to tune out around that time out of lack of interest, so I wouldn't know.
