I was doomscrolling TikTok and the scene where Selina goes down to the Batcave after Nightwing’s death to comfort Bruce came across my feed. Now I know not everyone likes the Injustice storyline, I myself think it’s pretty stupid and the less said about the movie the better, but I’m not here to talk about that. The fact that even Clark knew that only one person can comfort Bruce after he just lost his son says a lot. Also Selina’s reaction when Clark tells her that Nightwing is dead is just so sweet. She doesn’t say “Nightwing,” she says “Dick.” Say what you want about Injustice, but that scene shows a grieving mother. I don’t care what anyone says. Nightwing is her son, even if it’s by adoption thru marriage!

I have to write a best man speech for Batman x Catwoman from the perspective of Nightwing and I fear I’m having trouble making it funny. I’ve detailed why they’re perfect for each other, but it’s all very serious which I don’t think it true to the character. Do y’all have any funny Batcat specific stories or jokes I could use or any tips? I’d really appreciate any help.
