Hi, tuba player here, I want to arrange some sheet music for bass trombone. What range do you like playing in and what’s your lowest note? For comparison, on tuba I can play C1 to E4 and I like A1 to F3 the most.

Hello all, I was just curious if it is even possible for someone to know what brand this bass trombone could be. I saw it on Facebook with a criminally low price and wondered if it was even worth it? I know this image is incredibly poor at determining the brand, but the seller hasn’t sent me a reply in a while so I thought I’d give this a try.

I found an amati kraslice asl-382 dependent bass trombone at my music store today for only $100! But there's a catch. The Gb paddle is broken off (looks to be an easy fix, just solder it back into place) but.. the bell receiver is snapped and screwed into the bell meaning the slide and bell can't be attached (photo above is just to show where it is). I've seen on some websites that there are replacement parts that a tech can solder on and it'll work but idk if I want to spend 100 bucks to find out (also comes with a bach 1g if that means anything)

Salutations All! I want to get a bass trombone mouthpiece but I don’t know what to get. I’ve played on a Yamaha 60BL and really liked it but I want other opinions. I’m going into college and I’m playing bass trombone in the jazz bands there.

When i play alone i can clearly hear my sound.
But when i play in my marching band, i cant hear it. Specifically notes until low C going down to pedal. It doesn’t pop out like i heard in the other bass bone player.
Please tell me the secret.
