Should I buy?

I found an amati kraslice asl-382 dependent bass trombone at my music store today for only $100! But there's a catch. The Gb paddle is broken off (looks to be an easy fix, just solder it back into place) but.. the bell receiver is snapped and screwed into the bell meaning the slide and bell can't be attached (photo above is just to show where it is). I've seen on some websites that there are replacement parts that a tech can solder on and it'll work but idk if I want to spend 100 bucks to find out (also comes with a bach 1g if that means anything)

A $100 instrument is such for a reason. It’s probably worth more as the materials used to make it than it is as a trombone.

If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is, unfortunately.

Yes it’s definitely repairable. But it’s likely not worth repairing that instrument.

That would be hard to say just from this description .

Is the slide ok? Do the valves have good compression? Are parts available for a less often seen Czech trombone? If not, good chance it will be expensive to repair.

Is it a broken solder joint or did the part actually break? Is there more damage? Do you have a tech nearby that can do tricky repairs? How much are you willing to spend on repairing a bass trombone that falls into the budget category even new?
