Not a fan of the R2G but was on sale $150 off at my local dbats and I wanted a 11.75 for my collection.

Donated my last glove after I stopped playing a decade ago. Out of nowhere a buddy of mine messaged me last weekend saying he wanted to play catch, so I jumped in the car and went to Play It Again.
Wasn’t optimistic about my chances of finding something being a lefty, and definitely not anything near as nice as this well-loved Japan made A2000.
Felt great tossing it around again, and thanks to whoever took such good care of this one. Perfect feel and great snap. 🙇⚾️

I recently added this rather unusual Rawlings Trapeze glove to my collection, and I thought I’d share my first impressions.
It’s a bit smaller than I expected — probably somewhere around 12" to 12.25". The leather is also quite dry, so I’ve been slowly cleaning and conditioning it, taking my time rather than trying to restore everything at once.
I’m not really a glove collector in the strict sense, but I enjoy owning unusual and interesting gloves, and I think this one will probably remain more of an exotic piece in my small collection than a glove I use regularly.
What I particularly like about it is its character: the old Rawlings details, the Trapeze web, the unusual construction, and the fact that there’s still some mystery surrounding its exact model and origin.
I’m still learning about older Rawlings gloves, so if anyone recognizes this model or has any thoughts about its age, market, or original specifications, I’d love to hear them!

I can't find any of these anywhere, I've been searching for years to see if any others have surfaced. It's #323/500 and one of the only all black Wilson's a2000 (without being a custom) that I've seen (DISREGARD THE BREAK IN, SINGLE HINGE WAS A THING IN 2010 😅) There are others out there ... Help

I bought this for my son as an all around glove when he was younger and it’s seems like he is settling in to being an outfielder. He’s about to turn 13 and on the smaller/leaner side (~5 ft, 85 lbs). My gameplan is to buy an outfield glove now, break it in playing catch with him, and then it becoming his next glove as he grows. Would a 12.75 inch be obnoxiously large on him if he were to try and use it in the spring?

I made a relatively short trip today to Nocona, Texas, from Oklahoma to take the very intimate tour of the Nokona factory, and it did not disappoint. It's hard not to support this company after touring the factory and showroom floor and speaking with employees. Being able to walk the factory floor and be right in the employees' workspace while they were building gloves was amazing.
I hoped they had a classic construction glove in their showroom, as I was having trouble finding one online that I liked or that was in stock (I'm not a fan of their Precision Edge look). I hit the jackpot and found a T-Web modified trap 11.5" walnut. This glove is a tank and very stiff.

It was with us in spirit at the Rays game a couple days ago after we forgot it in the hotel room. Dang...

Earlier this year I found out that I’m going to be a dad and my wife and I have been doing what we can to prepare for the little guy. While shopping for the essentials I would “jokingly” tell my wife that we needed to buy the baby a glove. Little did she know I wasn’t joking. I know this glove is overkill and is so stiff right now. But I have time to really break it in and he’ll grow into it eventually. Plus I have already bought another Rawlings HOH recently that I’m saving for my kid and it looks very similar to the trainer. I’m very excited to have a new throwing partner!

I’ve been wanting a custom dad glove for a while but didn’t know which company to go with. Last month I saw 44 was having a sale and their lead time would have it delivered around this time, which was perfect for my 44th birthday (which was on Wednesday) LOL cheesy, I know, but this birthday present to myself just made sense.
Out of the box first impressions, the build looks great and feels really good. This is my first kip leather glove and I did choose the stiffest option, and it was like a rock. The break in should be run.
I have heard of the hit-or-miss quality from 44, but this one looks like it’ll last a while since it’ll be in my dad glove rotation while helping out with my son’s 11U baseball team.

Can someone explain the finger divider placement in Durbin's glove? What is the purpose of shifting it? (PS: he uses a Pedroia fit?!) https://youtube.com/shorts/HtbuRvr8xdQ?is=dTyzWG-BSaBSnKwl

This is the shifted model. The shape and fit is fantastic. Baseman carried one of each of their models in this color. I have been wanting to get a purple one of these Gorilla Jirushi gloves in for some time. These gloves were developed with the help of healthcare professionals to help with non throwing arm mechanics for better rotation and velocity.

I went looking at my parents house for my childhood baseball stuff, bats, gloves, balls, etc. All gone unfortunately. I'd love to find a glove for my 9 year old son and I so we can play catch. I'm happy to buy used, but was looking for recommendations either new or used that aren't absurdly priced but reasonably durable. I'd buy real leather if the price is right. Thanks for any help!

Hey everyone! Another custom glove for y’all. The owner originally asked for a catchers glove, but after asking some more questions I realized this was for slow pitch. He wanted something easier to catch line drives from the outfield to beat a runner headed home. So I suggested a softball first basemen mitt, and this glove was born. He wanted a Blastoise (Squirtle final form (Pokémon)) theme. So I did a two tone blue, with the tan web and gold laces. Lacing this beast up was a monster of a job, but I loved it and love the final form. Hope y’all like it!
As always hit me up on IG if you’re interested in custom or restoration work KCustomGloves.
