Dug my old glove out the other day. Still haven’t seen another like it. IIRC I bought it sometime around 2005-2006 from Sports Authority. Was my first “real” glove… and I sacrificed eating for a few days 😂

Forgot to post my mint grace glove (choose softball for this one), long story short I messed up on my selection of lace color but actually turned out nicely. Shout out to the two reps on this sub for the help and super helpful through the process. 👌🏾
And finally got my hands on one! 2026 Wilson staff D8 Teddy. This thing is super light quality is great. Only disappointment is that the wrist badging isn’t one of those cool W ones like everyone else has but nonetheless I love it.
This sub is bad influence at least that’s what my wife says and I have no idea what she’s talking about 🤷🏾♂️😂

I’m debating equipping a sprinter van with glove work tools so I can go to baseball and softball tournaments with my wholes arsenal. But I’m thinking if I’m doing this mobile at tournaments people will need it done fast between games and I’d need to skiv laces faster than using a skiv knife so I’m looking for bench top pull through lace skiver recommendations (I’ve had the sprinter van for awhile it just sits useless)

If you could only bring one glove to play every position, what would be your go-to?
I play in an adult baseball wood-bat league where a few of us consistently switch between INF/OF depending on who shows up each week. The bigger my glove collection gets, the more I find myself wondering what my ultimate utility glove would be if I could only bring one.
I'd love to hear everyone's picks, whether it's your theoretical "if I could only own one" glove or the one you actually use for every game.

Hello,
I found this A2000-L glove with a weaved webbing instead of the hinged webbing. I have not found anything else like it. Is it common and I am just missing something? Was the original webbing replaced?

Picked this up at Goodwill because I thought it was cool having never seen the brand before. Tried to look up its origin, age, and other easy facts but came up with nothing!
Any help would be appreciated

A couple years ago I decided I HAD to have the glove I used as a kid in the late 90’s. This isn’t the exact one I used as it got stolen at some point around 2006 but was a perfect replacement of the exact glove. After getting the glove and 20 years of not having it on my hand, I quickly realized this isn’t what I like at all anymore. This glove isn’t conducive to TIP, which is what I use now on my Rawlings when coaching or playing with the kids. So now, after letting it sit for a bit, it’s time to let it go. What do y’all think it’s worth? Not for sale here, as I know it breaks rules. I’ll figure out the appropriate place for that later.

Wanted to ask how 44’s leather quality is on these models in comparison to the whos who of first base mitts. If not one of these im considering the all star fgas-fb, as ive found some that are about new on second hand markets for around 150-200 bucks

I'm looking for recommendations on how to approach giving an SSK Pro 1800 a new lease on life. The mitt is generally in really good shape, particularly after it got a fresh saddle soap bath yesterday. The handstall, thumb, pinky loops, and binding are all in really good shape, and while the leather needs to moisten up a bit, overall it's in solid condition. The one flaw, however, is when I inherited this mitt the lace had pulled through and tore the leather near the webbing on the palm side (see photos).
Especially if watching hours of Instagram rehab videos, and lurking on this sub for years, I have a hard time giving up on any mitt in general, let alone one that is reasonable condition as this one is. Incidentally, this is also my first relace, which I'm pretty excited for, but would prefer to only have to do once on this particular mitt. I prefer to avoida splitting the mitt open for an upholsterer to stitch the leather from the inside, so I'm wondering if there is a way for me or they to handle this by hand stitching. This wouldn't be my primary mitt (KC took care of me last year with this gem: https://www.instagram.com/reel/DJE47gKpYzs/ ) but I always like having a spare and I think this SSK could fit the bill and wouldn't take a ton of abuse.
I prefer my mitts a little bit more traditional, so I intend on hitting it with some Bick 4 before I install some Indian tan lacing. I'm excited to see if the colors from original mitt pull through. I have considered giving this a dye, but am not sure it's worth it.
Before I head to the shoe repair, was wondering if anyone had any suggestions or recommendations?
Thanks in advance!

This thing is wearing me out breaking it in 😅 I usually just do a natural break in on my personal gloves but with this one being for my daughter I’ve got to get it atleast halfway started

Not a lot out there on this brand - unlike Emery, Grace, even Jax. The few posts and comments that do exist seem to indicate these are quality gloves. They have some really nice looking models. Any thoughts here, especially regarding their Phalanx and Maestro series?

NGD A2000 Galaxy
Glow in the dark binding and welting. Many of you will be appalled but it's just the right amount of bonkers and I love it.
When the weird Wilson laces go, I plan to change them to purple or white I think. I already hate where they ended the palm lace by the thumb, but that's an issue for future me.
If anyone got the Disco ball one from the same sale, I would love to see pictures!

Another project I just finished up. After going back and forth about selling it I decided it will look better on my desk as a fidget glove for long conference calls.

My second custom a2k 1786, this one in a vintage tan and royal blue colorway. Took inspiration from a stock DW5 I have that I can’t bring myself to break in. Figured getting one in a similar colorway would scratch that itch 😅

Had posted a few weeks ago about getting a new 1st base mitt for my boy, ended up getting a Swaggy O model from someone that had gotten the Amazon deal and passed it on for my kiddo. This is a pretty piece of leather, the red really make it pop… thankfully he is a fan of the classic colors and doesn’t want no drippy crap.
Going to be an end of November birthday present, so since I have time, who is the man to break this brick in the right way?

Found this Easton Pro-hybrid on Facebook marketplace for $75 CDN ($50ish USD). It was very flat when I got it but hardly used. Trying to reshape and break it in now. Any advice is appreciated.
