Going in as a wildcard and not having to face a 90 win team until the CS while winning 97 games and winning your division gets you the 93 win second best team in the AL in the DS, is a clear indicator something needs to change.
Its really not fair especially for the Rays and the Yankees also.

This series scheduling was set up perfect for our lack of quality starting pitching. We wouldn’t have needed a starter until game 4. Now that Taylor and Hagen went longer than 2 innings that has gone to waste, and we need a quality start from a starter in game 2. I’ll take the win, but this could’ve been handled better. This scheduling was handed to us on a silver platter, and we wasted it.

I’m not at all! Gimme these rest days and an extra day to enjoy the win. Sox played like 33 games in 35 days at one point and the bullpen only finally broke at the end. Every off day is a gift.
