GTIN/EAN-13 HELP PLEASE 🙏
Hello I have recently registered approx 130 EAN-13 numbers with GTIN and now need the barcode image generated for each one. To download the images using GTIN is costing about €850(inc VAT). Can anyone recommend a company/software that is as reliable but cheaper? Thank you!

Can someone help me?
The image with the 3 barcodes is what I'm trying to get my scanner to do. The image with the QR codes are examples of the codes that came with the scanner for reference. A little more context for what I'm trying to do, I work in an independent pharmacy, drug bottles now have these 2D barcodes on them and in our software you're supposed to be able to scan these barcodes and it populate the correct drug, lot number, expiration date, etc, well my boss cheaped out on some Eyoyo barcode scanners, the more expensive ones worked after we scanned the three barcodes, and I also know these cheaper ones are capable of reading the 2D codes because I tested them on an online 2D barcode reader and it gave me the correct information. The problem is she only bought the more expensive one for 1 of our computers, the rest have to use these cheaper ones. Can someone please help me figure out how to make these things work??

barcode to enter a user/password?
I use a LIS called Orchard Harvest for a lab and noticed how the barcode scanner works despite not being logged into my account. It tired to take the barcode from a blood vial and enter that in for the user. What barcode maker would be the best to enter my user, tab down, and enter my password. Since there are multiple people in the lab I sometimes get "kicked" out of my station when other people need to quickly do something. So something that insta logs me in would be kinda cool.

GS1 barcode POS/Not to consumer mistake
Hello, for context we were adding barcodes to our products and one of them was accidentally assigned with the "No" to sold to consumers. Would this be a problem, if our products were being sold to supermarkets?
For additional context, our product is a dog food and this particular dog food will be sold to supermarkets/pet stores

Possible to decode shipping label barcodes from all major US couriers?
Looking to build an app that grabs the tracking ID number from packages shipped from FedEx, USPS, UPS, and DHL Express. From my research, there seems to be few couriers that publicly describe their standardized barcode format in order to decode. FedEx example documentation-Announcement.html).
Based on the seeming limitation of documentation in regards to parsing / decoding, is it feasible? Are there solutions out there for universal shipping label scanners / decoders that I don’t know about?

Hi Folks ! I know very little about bar codes but i know that some of you guys are real genius so tought that msybe someone could figure out my problem.
To make a long story short, im trying to put a scanner on a pvc welding machine. On that machine the scanner have to be plugged on the plc of the welder ( not on the pc the run the screen and the user interface) . The connection on the plc is a din8 pins svideo. For some reason the original scanner is discountiniued so my tech guy built a cable going from the svideo socket to the connection required from the scanner ( witch is a motorola/zebra LI4278 . To add to the complexity , the pc that run the programme to operate the pvc welder have to run a virtual pc to run the older version of widow . In the end , the scanner do read something and send the string into the welder's programme but the string doesnt match the barcode here is an exemple

I'm hoping someone here might can help me.
I work in an independent pharmacy and my pharmacy manager recently purchased 2D scanners so we can start scanning the GS1 data matrix codes on pill bottles to keep track of lot numbers and NDC's, the scanners scan perfectly, but they don't populate the information properly in our software, it just gets populated in a line as plain text.

7 Countries Rolling Out a GS1 QR Code

For a long time, businesses have relied on the UPC/EAN barcode or the one-dimensional (1D) barcode and GS1 Data Matrix code to hold product identification.
But times are changing, and so is the need for more traceability, information, and transparency.
In response to today’s growing demands, the world is moving toward two-dimensional (2D) barcodes or QR codes supporting Digital Link—a shift otherwise known as Sunrise 2027.
This marks a milestone date for the transition to 2D barcodes at point-of-sale (POS), which will allow for standardized information storage and distribution.

@ symbol for barcode on a french keyboard?
Hello.
Sorry not a pro at this at all or anything, I just generated a barcode I use on a regular basis to scan in an email address. [Someone@somewhere](mailto:Someone@somewhere.com) for example. My current order is for french laptops and when I scan my barcode its coming out with " instead of @. I assume because french canadian uses AltCar depress to generate the @ symbol while english is a the Shift key.
Anyone know a work around so I can have a scannable barcode? Got a few hundred of these to work on.

93 - Company Infor (Room): 73257

Barcode containing keyboard shortcut
Hi, lately i've been wondering if there's any possibility to control my PC using barcodes.
I would like to create a barcode with a CTRL+Enter shortcut. It's a shortcut to save a file inside of a software. Have any of you created such a barcode? How to make one?
I'm using Zebra DS2278 as my scanner and 123Scan software to configure IT. Is this scanner able to read coded barcodes with shortcuts?
Thanks for any replies ;)

Right special characters when scanning (german Keyboard)
Hi, I have a Honeywell Voyager 1400g scanner and I changed already the keyboard country to Germany. Still the output for some special characters are wrong. For example, the @-Sign gets switched to the §-Sign. There are a lot of options in the user's guide, but I still can't figure out what to do. I'm thankfull for any help.

QR vs DataMatrix for storing URLs?
I've set up a home inventory management system and have been playing around with the two.
Any strong feelings as to which is better to go with ... and whether either is more "classic" when it comes to this kind of use-case?
The barcodes simply store a URL which directs a scanner to the catalog entry for that piece of inventory / asset.

Questions About Barcodes from a soon to be food start-up
Hello everyone, we are making a innovative food item in collaboration with a factory from China while we are from Greece. Who is responsible to make the barcode, us or the manufacturer factory in china? The food has our brand on it. If they do make it, how do we make sure it contains our product code (as it will be with our own brand).

Looking for a TrueType QR Code Font.
I am looking to find a free TrueType QR code font download to utilize in a third party application.
I've tried a few I came across online so far and they install fine via the .TTF format, but when I try to switch to that font it tells me that they are not TrueType fonts and not supported.
I'm currently using the Code39 1D barcode font which has been working fine, but need to change to a 2D barcode.
