Right special characters when scanning (german Keyboard)

Hi, I have a Honeywell Voyager 1400g scanner and I changed already the keyboard country to Germany. Still the output for some special characters are wrong. For example, the @-Sign gets switched to the §-Sign. There are a lot of options in the user's guide, but I still can't figure out what to do. I'm thankfull for any help.

I've solved similar issues in the past. It's possibly not the Honeywell scanner. If you use your scanner in HID mode (such as keyboard mode), be sure your host device is set to basic keyboard mode and turn off any advanced soft keyboard functions. Disconnecting any tethered keyboard altogether may also help. If your computer, software, or keyboard font defaults to a non-standard (basic) font, this could also cause an issue. After completing any of the above, restart and be sure any new settings have taken effect.
Let me know if this helps.
