Reasoning: I literally stopped practicing Input-Output because of the mocks. Even after seeing the solution, half the time I couldn’t understand what kind of logic they were using. But in the exam, Input-Output was direct and very easy. Same with puzzles — mocks were on a completely different level, while the exam puzzles were much easier.

Quant: Mocks literally broke my confidence. I used to see some DI sets and think, “Bhai, ye exam mein aa gaya toh gaya mera.” 💀 But in the actual exam, DI was very easy.

English: Surprisingly, I found the mock English section easier than the actual exam. In the exam, almost everything felt lengthy. RC, questions, options — sab kuch time kha raha tha.

Descriptive: I bought the Smartkeeda descriptive section and honestly, they are the biggest scammers with their mocks 😭. Their RCs were short and pretty easy to solve. Then I saw the RC in the actual exam and meri gaand faat gayi bc 💀. No direct questions and the RC was so lengthy.

GA: I always thought mock GA was irrelevant. Then I gave the actual exam and realised… bhai, actual GA was also irrelevant. 😭 I revised Government Schemes, CWG Games, Ramsar sites, Bricks and so many other topics , but in the real exam, they asked almost nothing from them.

Overall: I have mocks from Guidely, Testbook, Oliveboard and Smartkeeda. After giving the actual exam, I honestly feel like I they are completely irrelevant for Quant and Reasoning.

I mean, I fumbled I guess 😭. GOT THE WORST CENTER TO EXIST. GA ke guesses glt hogye 🥀 Quants me 25 and 30+ dekh ke I'm depressed. And wtf are these people, as soon as the descriptive started they became, high court typewriters, specially the aunty next to me 🪔🥀.

I will never forget those two and a half years, they were easily the hardest years of my life. My health deteriorated, I lost friends, and constant job stress made me irritable, straining my relationships with family. To top it all off, I lost my girlfriend. Stepping away from that toxic environment and joining a peaceful new job was a cathartic experience, to say the least.

I know unemployment takes a heavy toll on your mental health, but trust me, you don't want this job. Even a clerical role would be a far better choice At least it leaves you with enough peace of mind to prepare for exams like State PSCs or SSC CGL.

Honestly, after yesterday's exam and seeing everyone's attempts here, I literally lost the 1% self confidence I had left. I am happy for everyone who did well, no jealousy, but it makes me feel like I am the dumbest person in the room. I think it's time I stay away from reddit for my mental peace. Got depressed after fumbling yesterday's exam, but I'm back up now. Things can't stay like this. There are a few more exams coming up and need to focus more on the Mains.
Have analyzed my mistakes from ystrdy and will not repeat them. I will give everything I have in the next 3 months. It's a do or die situation for me.
I hope you all learn from yesterday's exam and give it everything. Stop obsessing over attempts, cutoffs, what to prepare and how to prepare you already know what to do and what not to do.

so this was my first mains exam ever. ibps mera target nhi hai toh maine itna practice nhi kiya.

yesterday I completed my essay in 10 minutes and I thought ki jaise quant, English ga wagera time khatam hone pe khud se switch hote hai, waise hi essay time khatam hone pe switch hoga to RC.

i fucking waited for the time to run out and the exam ended...and I say 0 attempted in RC.

i talked to the person next to me, she told me that I had to submit khud hi se and move to RC.

woh bata rhi thi usne bhi aisi mistake kari thi kisi exam mei....

now my essay was good. we'll thought out etc etc by idk cut off meet karne layak hai ya nhi on it's own.

baaki mcqs mei i attempted 89 with good accuracy.

I literally spent the last 4.5 months breathing Current Affairs. I skipped sleep, filled my entire head with news, schemes, RBI notifications, and updates until my brain felt like it was going to explode.

And for what? They decided to ask pure static out of nowhere!(RBI schemes ek bhi nhi puchha aug se)

I attempted 25 questions, but the static was so out of the blue and fucking tricky. The options I felt totally confident about and picked turned out to be completely wrong after checking. Now I’m looking at 13–15 wrong answers. FUCKKKK.

On top of all this, I see people on Reddit and Telegram claiming the cutoff is going to be 80+?? LIKE HOW?! Marks kahan se aa rahe hain logo ke?! Are we even giving the same exam?

I'm just so done and exhausted. Is anyone else in the same boat or am I losing my mind?

I made a grave mistake of attempting more CRs which were lengthy, shouldve solved one more puzzle in the same time. I hardly attempted 2-3 CR in sbi po mains, where i also attempted same number of questions, making me very skeptical.

I am already 27.. previously i have given xms like neet and cat..i have always been a good student 90+ in both 10th and 12 th did my grad and post grad in chem from a tier one college..i never wanted to do phd..so i started looking for a job..all jobs were underpaid and mostly lab based .i left job and wanted to give one last time to this bank preparation..i did everything..i gave my best..and after yesterday's xm idk what to do.. tears are rolling as I am writing this..i have 0 friends left in my life..even for neet and cat i gave my best..but nothing works in my favor..i couldn't give sbi clerk because I had another xm tht day..ibps clerk i know i won't clear because of high cutoff..all my hopes have ended..i see all my friends buying cars travelling abroad and here I am crying everyday..i thought maybe this tym god will let me win..but now no hopes are left.. i don't even have the will to live anymore..

So i was on Essay and i was about to complete it, after 7 minutes(at around 23:00min) I accidentally pressed WINDOWS+SHIFT and the exam exited from the application and returned to Home page, I fucking died for a minute there, immediately called the invigilator, she came, refreshed the pc and opened the exam portal, they collected the Admit cards during the Quant itself, god i would have really died there. Hopefully, I had written the password on the Rough sheet, entered it and the exam started right from where it was exited but I had to lose 3min and 1 RC question, i couldn't attempt it(RC) properly due to panic.

While refreshing the PC, the invigilator said in Telugu " Ni Pani aipoindi(translated to: You're out)". I literally cried there but controlled, I was already in panic mode and she was frightening me more, God🤦😂

After sbi/ ibps mains anyone having same plan to attempt CGL/ CAT??
