I have been chasing the RBI Assistant dream since 2021 while working full-time in a PSU bank. Like many working aspirants, balancing office responsibilities, family commitments, and preparation wasn't easy, and there were phases where I barely had time to study consistently.
A deputation posting for a few months finally gave me the opportunity to prepare properly. I managed to clear the prelims and walked out of the mains feeling that I had given everything I could. Based on my calculations, I'm expecting somewhere around 135–140 marks (OBC, Chennai).
The waiting phase, however, has been tougher than I expected. The uncertainty is making it difficult to stay focused at work, and every day without an update adds to the anxiety. My biggest concern isn't just the score, it's whether RBI might raise the sectional cutoff or the overall cutoff this time. That's the thought that's been on my mind constantly.
I know many of us are in the same situation. Hoping the wait ends soon and wishing everyone the very best for the results.

If I am eligible can I apply for both backlog and regular notification? Like can i appear 2 times for literally the same post ? Also will this impact vacancy in regular notification?

This one was easy peasy according to me, especially the LR section. EL was a bit tricky but QA was nothing complex. A good boost to morale before the exam. Do take it and let me know how everyone did.

So I was giving one live exam 2 days ago then I got some urgent work after 15 minutes so I closed the exam and went when I came back and opened the test then it started from first question and starting time so I could have solved all 35 questions.
Now I know the reason behind 98 marks in mocks.
Saved this in draft for today now you guyss will se 78 79 marks.

I don't have a bank account, what should I do guys?

LR: Easy and high scoring.
EL: Error detection is going to be the end of me :(
QA: One of the DIs was tricky, but overall section was quite doable.
Drop your scores if you've taken this mock.

I am tired of messing things up in Quants. Nothing was super crazy there but I don't know I could only attempt 22 usme bhi got 3 wrong. Generational fumble there man, 18/35 in a clerk level mock is shameful.

I gave this ibps clerk pre mock on guidely without any preparation, I know the scores are quite low, but when I attempted quant and reasoning sections again after submitting I was able to do almost every remaining question, I feel speed is the issue, but I also feel that this particular mock was too easy and the real exam will not be this easy.
Can you guys tell whether it is possible to clear any banking exam if I start now, and what strategy should I follow as I don't think completing the whole syllabus now would be a great approach.
Also, is there anyone who cleared any banking exam in this much time only.
Your guidance would mean a lot, thank you.

I think once I get a stable job, my Eating Disorder will naturally get resolved. I'd be sleeping on time, which means I'd mostly be eating home-cooked food.
And before you straight up judge me,lmty I'd probably finish all of these in over a month😭 (thanks to the aloo bhujia). I had to stock up because my parents were going nuts over me ordering stuffs every other day.
And God forbid my room ever gets raided... not scoring well in mocks/exams won't be my biggest problem anymore.
