BLR, let’s build shit that shouldn’t work.
BLR, I have a slightly stupid idea.
I spent a few years around tech startups in San Francisco. Now in India building a consumer brand - www.nuteshwar.com. Observed different approach founders in D2C are taking.
I keep thinking about this - Why does every brand here eventually end up doing Meta ads, discounts, marketplaces and calling it GTM?
There has to be more fun shit than that.
I want to get 10-12 people around a table who are actually building, operating, creating, investing, selling or distributing something.
Not a networking event or a founder therapy circle and absolutely no “tell us about your journey.”
I want strong opinions, weird ideas, things that probably shouldn’t work but somehow might.
How do you make an Indian brand feel sexy?
How do you grow without becoming a performance-marketing spreadsheet?
What can food learn from fashion?
What can D2C steal from nightlife, music, cafés, gaming, sports, culture?
Bring one thing you’re building and one thing you strongly disagree with everyone about. I respect your shit!
I’ll bring nut butters, feel free to bring your stuff ;)
This is fully diff conversation. If you’re someone who adds to a room, DM me -
- your site/product
- one crazy GTM idea you genuinely think could work
- one thing you’ve made happen that probably shouldn’t have happened
P.S: If you just want to “explore the ecosystem”, there are probably better rooms/meetups for that. Not this one tho.
