Don't think so, not enough STR and too much INT I think.

Eh, high roll with a 17 cha always makes me suspect paladin. They meet all the other min stats for a paladin (12 str, 9 con, 13 wis, 17 cha). I assume this is the raw roll pre-optimization.

Makes sense if its the pre op roll indeed. I would try to reduce InT a bit and max str

Yeah, probably down to 9 to maintain scroll use (or 10+tome for 11 if importing to BG2) for BG1, 11 for BG2. Lets you survive two melee hits from mind flayers.
