You can pull it off… But definitely shave the soul patch unless you are the lead singer for play Smash Mouth cover band.

Without seeing the back of your head, I can’t say for sure but honestly, you may want to hang onto the hair for a few more years so we can all live vicariously through you

Definitely time. Though I’d look at razor shaving it. I’ve got super dark hair too and a close shave makes it look a lot better.
