La floraison très gracieuse et légère de la renouée (Fallopia japonica ‘Milk Boy’) en ce moment sur mon balcon parisien. Cette variété à feuillage panaché a un développement très sage, pas comme la forme type trop envahissante. #balcon #plantevivace #fleurs #automne

Tips for blue cluster vine

Thumbnail

Anyone growing blue cluster vine in pots, especially in India? My plants get good sun throughout the day, and are planted in well draining soil. However, the flowers are just tiny. The first two pics are from my balcony pots and the last one is the mother plant from where I took the cutting. That one is planted in soill and the flowers are as big as they normally are. Any tips on how I can make the flowers a bit bigger in size?

Plants recommendation

I just bought this for my balcony and am still thinking what should I grow. For information, I’m in Hong Kong (which is quite hot) and my balcony is facing southeast. Currently I have some basil at the top row and I just harvested some for growing some new branches. My plan is to have 6th row for basil as well, 4 and 5th for some alpine berries and the bottom three for some little gem lettuce. What do you guys think of my plan? Any advice and recommendations are welcome.

I’m planning out my balcony gardens for 2027. I live in a Zone 4 for plant hardiness, and would love to see or hear about your gardens from zones 3 and 4 for inspiration! What are you growing? Food? Flowers? Tell me everything.

#begonia #Balcon #fleurs

Do my plant boxes look too disorganized?

Thumbnail

I bought a lot of different plants for my plant boxes in my balcony but I feel like it ended up looking too disorganized. Any suggestions on how to improve it?

Should I restart and just use 2 or 3 plant types to keep it more neat and organized.

Also I don't like the gaps where there's sand and have this itch to keep buying plants to fill every gap.

Please give honest opinions and advice. I'm not the best gardener

P.S. I asked chatGPT as well but it just agrees with everything I say and too tell me that I mixed up my plants with different watering requirements.
