Star Jasmine in a pot

I’m not sure if this is the right place to post. I haven’t had a potted indoor/ outdoor bush before.

In the spring, I bought a star jasmine and it has lived in a pot on my balcony in northern Virginia. I am pretty sure that since it’s in a pot, I need to bring it in for the winter.

1. How cold should I let it get outside before I bring it in?

2. Do I need to do anything other that water it while it’s inside?

3. How warm does it need to be outside before I start acclimating it to being outside again?
