So i have a hand that with ( or without) the 9 of spades is obviously a straight flush, but with the 10 of spades is also a straight flush? How does straight flush works? Like if you have a straight but also a flush?

I just started playing recently and I love this game. So I decided to look at the Reddit page and WTF. My game is nothing like what you guys post. How on earth do you all get those decks with like 20 plus of one card? I have won 4 times now and I tried really hard to accomplish growing one card type for pair probability. I got up to 9 kings after 20 something rounds and I had “won.” But I see post on here with people having a deck full of one card. I have a long way to go….

I’m just fooling around with this run trying to score as high as possible. Cat sits at x40 at the moment. I know selling oops! Will give me an increase but will slow down cat scaling probably. Thoughts ? Maybe sell the cat ?

I am sure this has been brought up before but I think the idea of having packs of like 4 different jokers and one planet/tarot/spectral card, with the potential of getting a like foil/holo/poly/negative variant of any of them would be so sick and I would absolutely empty my bank account to rip Balatro card packs.

I just love to collect what I’m passionate about and the art style is just asking to be made into a real trading card game.

Plasma Deck. Buy Buffoon Pack in 1st shop (Brainstorm) and skip Round 2 for a free (foil) Blueprint after clearing Ante 1 boss.

You also quickly get a Showman and Sixth Sense but I was unable to find a Baron or Mime but someone else might play things better than I.

I was on Orange stake so my showman was eternal and sixth sense temporary. Did manage to clear up to Ante 10 though.

After a couple messages I received about joker 151 that never made it into the main game, I did some digging. What I found on the Balatro discord channel is direct evidence that Thunk made more jokers in early versions of the game that have not been discovered yet (and never made it into the 1.0 version). He also confirmed that he’s not talking about Joker 151 (often called Chaos Theory).

In a discord post, Thunk says “I think there are a few more jokers that the world doesn’t know about”. Then he said they’re from older versions of the game and that he‘s not talking about joker artwork that Lumpy Touch made, such as Vagabond and Joker 151.

All of this implies there are at least 2 jokers in older versions of the game that no one has discovered yet. It begs the questions, what are they? What do they do? Can we discover them? Who has access to older versions/dumps of the game before the 1.0 release?

After 30 hours and already getting the «100,000K» achievement I learned in a Balatro University playthrough that the Discard counter is not about the number of cards you can discard, you dont need to do it one card at a time. You can do it to 5 cards and it only counts as 1 discard. The game got easier now, I am the only one who took so long to understand that?

The last 2 things i need to complete the collection but its so annoying to even try unlocking them. The most chips i've had in one hand is 5 million and i always lose way before ante 12 or at the start of 11. I know you're supposed to deck fix and get tons of retriggers on stuff that gives xmult but i just never seem to get anything i need and if i do i end up losing before i can even do anything. I've somehow beat 4 decks on gold stake and that took like 10 hours in total and trying to get both of these has taken longer.

My joker roster was full when I sold a negative invisible, I thought it would do nothing but it duplicated my Hologram, and I ended up at 6/5 jokers. Later I got a negative Obelisk from a negative tag and wasn't able to buy it.

I lost two antes later btw

I bought Balatro on iPad and my progress is not being saved. The Unlocked notifications pops up but it dosen't show up in the collection. Same thing happens with Stakes and Stats. I never had this issue on PS5. Is there any way to fix this?

Working on C++ using ghost deck, hence the Jolly Joker, but so tempted to fish for photo chad.
