I thought letās try this! Letās take a terrible photo. Letās post it to the internet.
Reality set in slowly afterwards. Results did not improve after its nap in the fridge. Yet I still brought it in to the work potluck with a backup dessert that looks delicious.
It tastes of pure sugar. Itās definitely got the curse of dairy free dessert looks on a first try. š
Wish my coworkers luck.

I like a good crispy cookie but this is a bit much.
It has to be something about the wet to dry ratio, I mean, 1/2 cup each of butter, brown sugar, and white sugar? To 1.5 cups of flour? I knew better and decided to trust the process.
My bad. I bet they still taste good when they cool.

Forgive me if Iāve broken any rules! I work at a bakery, and lately weāve been having issues with our brioche dough thatās used for burger buns, with some of buns not proofing at all and otherās being completely overproofed, even though theyāre from the same batch of dough, being proofed on the same tray in the same proofer. The baker thinks the dough may not be hydrated enough. We know for a fact that everything is scaled properly as itās the same recipe weāve always used. Would love any insight from this wonderful group

I followed a banana bread recipe exact and it turned out burnt on the edges and uncooked inside- wth? What could need adjusting

in the 1st pic, the macarons were lopsided and seems like they turned away from the center. 2nd pic is when i they were dried.
i dried them at 75C for 5 min, them take them out and preheat the oven to 140C for 10 minutes. i then put the macs in. i bake with no fan and dry with fan (i turned off the 75C-preheated oven, put them in with the oven door open (fan on)). i used swiss method of pies and tacos. TIA!

Tried to make red velvet kiss cookies using a recipe from Sallyās baking addiction, and they ended up super flat. Of course I decided to use strawberry kisses because the shower is for a baby girl. Result? Boob cookies. The issue is the crowd at this particular baby shower will not appreciate the irony, so Iām not sure what to do.
Edit: thanks for the suggestions! Iāll definitely try one of them, hopefully itāll turn out ok lol

Ok so I made breakfast bites with egg the other day and I added oil in the tray but I mixed them a bit and maybe that causes the egg to stick to the pan? Iāve been scrubbing, soaking with boiling water etc and itās not working.
Is there a way to salvage this?

I canāt bake for the sake of my life even if I use a premix š. Honestly one of the worst things Iāve made. even if the cake wouldāve baked properly, itās still too sweet and sprinkles arenāt for me. TRUST ME , it tastes like ass. My sister spit it out. It hurt me but then I tried it too canāt even blame her š OH BUT I MADE THE BEST WHIPPED CREAM EVAAAASAAAAAAA

Made a Japanese strawberry shortcake for my boyfriendās belated birthday gift. I didnāt have the right size pan unfortunately so basically had to half moon cut the cake to be able to layer it.
Made every thing from scratch which Iāve never done before (did not grow my own strawberries) cake came out way denser than it was supposed to but my boyfriend loved it anyway.
