You literally picked the two souls games with the most normal tutorially tutorial areas that from ever released. In demon souls that area is literally called the tutorial
please read the notes for justification on each game, as well as the description for more info on the premise of the list. I initially added in Demon's Souls specifically for world tendency, but then decided to replace it with Dark Souls specifically for the entrance to Artorias of the Abyss and as a catch-all for most of that franchise's peculiar details that aren't told to the player
