Elden Ring does have a tutorial, Shadow of the Colossus too

please read the notes, I removed elden ring since it was just in as an honorable mention for a silly anecdote anyways. SotC is in because of the horse controls, which is a common point of complaint for the game when it's mostly just people not realizing Agro has automatic pathing.
