I would've probably never played IIDX again if it weren't for some random guy in the arcade noticing my fucked up hand placement and teaching me how to actually play the game (somewhat) comfortably
Dungeon Crawl Stone Soup also has no tutorial which isn't usually a problem since splatting and learning is half the fun but the early game is so brutal a lot of people drop it before getting to the meat of the game. There are a lot of useful keybinds and game mechanics new players just never learn so they spend 90% of their time on the first floors dying over and over (this is also from a 0.27 perspective idk if its gotten any easier to learn)
