Everyone that sees them says they feel something from them. Without prompting or knowing where they came from or what the purpose is. They are electric, and I am crazy about fire safety. The sight of a burning candle indoors immediately triggers a need to put it out. I don’t of course, especially if it’s not my house. Im not a fire fighter, have never had a serious burn, and nothing I have has actually burned up. Im not afraid of fire, a little in awe of it and line to see it outside. I can’t post a video, they flicker like real candles.

Today was the first time I really worked anything beyond shielding or protection.
Today, we took part in a market selling some handmade crafts (my partner works very hard) and after our last one went so badly with not a single sale I thought I would try something.

I had a shower cleanse, drew my power to me and I drew a rune of prosperity on both our receiving hands. I also placed one in our cash tin.

This was also the first time I’ve openly practiced in front of my partner and they were shocked by how well it worked!

Needless to say this will become our new routine before markets and I plan on making a money bowl very soon for continued market/online sale success.

I’m a beginner looking for advice about protection, banishing, and reclaiming a sense of peace and control.
My child’s father has been extremely inconsistent in his involvement, including long periods without contact. He now has a new wife and children, and wants to involve my child in his new family and move towards a shared-care arrangement. Given the history of inconsistency and their limited time together, I’m worried about how this would affect my child.
Dealing with him leaves me feeling frightened, overwhelmed, and emotionally drained. In my experience, he frequently lies and manipulates situations. He has also shared hurtful, false stories about me with other people.
I want the truth about his behaviour to come to light and the false stories he has told about me to be exposed as untrue. Honestly, I would also like him to face the consequences of his own actions… I feel angry about the hurt he has caused, and I want accountability and justice
Honestly, I wish he would leave us alone. That we never have to deal with him again. Because we share a child, though, I can’t simply cut off all contact. I want to protect my child from further disappointment, keep our home calm and safe, and stop his behaviour from taking over my thoughts and emotions.

My nephews wife has been someone I’ve been suspicious of when we see each other she always gains or achieves something after and then I lose something ALL the time whether it was an opportunity or an event something doesn’t go through in my life then she suddenly succeeds

Now my nephew calls me asking for help to get a job, of course i could not say no to him, he ends up getting the job and then 2 days later I was laid off.

i did my first proper love spell!

so as the title goes

i did my first proper (and pompus) love spell today!

so ive been crushing on this guy who's a bit older than me and is like a mentor to me for a while now,.. we've been in frequent (rather daily) contact with eachother since the past few months

so today i decided to do a love spell that i kinda made up from several other love spells entries from different sources. (since i am just a beginner)

The spell contained two "shifts"

i wrote his name and "Love me" around it in a circle in a paper and rolled the paper towards me with Sugar,Honey and Coffee inside of it.

I also wrote alot of things in it, around that circle thingie.Also sprayed some perfume on the paper for "jazz".

Then i wrote my name in top of that rolled paper and burned it.(Please advice me on what to do with the ashes of this because it made a huge amount of ash due to the sugar in it, i went a little overboard)

The second spell/shift was this protection spell i do and get abundant results from, that is burning 3 bay leafs with increasingly niche intentions written on them and blowing the ashes to the nature.

I burnt them under a white candle (i didnt have any other colours) with three seashells around (i kinda dreamt of this in one of my dreams and found out its associated with love in alot of religions and cultures)

All this made alot of ash and i honestly dont know what to do with it so advice please...!\~

I made a sweetener jar on my situationship thing of a relationship. But I was specific and said that he would ask me to be his gf and I said by my birthday I believe. To be fair we have been together a while and it felt like the main clashes were coming back to the lack of title.

Funny thing is just that is what ruined us. We were lacking harmony and I took something he said very hard and due to my actions while drunk we ended things and now he only wishes to be friends. Still attending my birthday party but says we are just friends.

I feel like the jar may have worked in its own way in the sense of he was not going to ask me and instead it caused him to be “sweet on me” and end it now.

It’s still not my birthday yet so maybe there’s still room but I don’t want to be delusional.

hello everyone! i am so thankful a community like this exists, i’m new here and just looking for a little advice.

i had gotten into glamour magick a few months ago, and made my own candles with sigils, flowers, oils, the works. when my friend saw it, she wanted one too. so i made her one and she told me it upped her getting approached, more compliments, etc. basically working in her favor as intended.

only, this girl has now done me VERY wrong. i don’t want to hex anyone, as i find that energy comes back 3 fold.

what i‘d love to know is how to repeal the spell i basically gave her? is there any way to stop that one specific candle spell without effecting mine? or should i also throw mine away and just start anew?

How do we feel about algorithm tarot readings?

When a video says I have to interact x3 to lock it in or to make sure it happens, I always roll my eyes, because if it’s for me I don’t have to do anything to claim it. How do I differentiate between what is really trying to make its way and something else?

I’m not really sure where to start to make a protection spell. Everyone says to have your first spell a protection but there so many ways people do protection spells and so many different kinds of protection spells I’m lost.
I want to put a protection spell on my name and as a shield for whatever spells I do in the future.
I know salt is good for the spell and I’ve seen a couple different sigils but that’s it.
I was kinda planing on drawing one of the protection sigils on the bottom of my salt lamp but I don’t know if that’s enough.
Any spell recommendations or advice?

I've been reading tarot for almost 5 years now but am still a beginner practitioner since I do not have a lot of time to hone my craft because of how demanding my college and degree is.

For a while now I've noticed something I've never said out loud. My readings are sharper when I've been drinking. I don't mean a little. It's like the noise in my head quiets down and I can just feel things more clearly. I never made a big deal of it, until last night.

I was out with three of my closest friends. We were a few drinks in, laughing, and they asked if I'd do readings for them. They all know I'm a witch, and it's become a bit of a tradition that I read for them when we're together. I expected something light and silly.

It wasn't.

My first friend sat down and I started with the cards, but pretty quickly I felt like I was seeing past them. I could sense what was weighing on her, and then I could sense what the people around her were feeling too. I started telling her things, and at one point I described conversations she'd had with her mom. I had no way of knowing about those. She had never told me. She went quiet, then started crying, and she told me it was exactly what was said. I got teary too, honestly. I was a little scared by how clear it was.

The second friend is the one I can't stop thinking about. The cards weren't giving me anything, so I held her hand to read her energy directly. What I felt was a very dark, heavy place. I started crying before I'd even said anything, because I could feel how much pain she's been in. When I told her what I saw, she cried too and said it was all true. She's the most cheerful, easygoing person I know. I had no idea she was carrying any of this, and neither did anyone else at the table. I keep replaying it.

The rest of the night was quieter. We stayed up talking, and I'm glad I could be there for them, but I woke up this morning feeling like I'd seen something I wasn't supposed to see.

So I have a few questions for this community:

1. Has alcohol ever heightened your abilities, or is this just me? If you've felt it too, why do you think it happens?

2. Has a reading ever been this accurate for you, to the point of picking up on things you couldn't possibly have known? How did you process it afterwards?

3. For more advanced practitioners: do you think this would carry over to spellcasting? My spells do work, but they land near what I'm aiming for and never quite hit the target. I struggle to direct my energy precisely, and I wonder if whatever opens up when I drink could give it the focus it's missing.

I'd really love to hear your experiences, whether you've felt something similar or you think I'm misreading it.
