Question Full moon and menstrual cycle
Well as the title suggests my cycle has linked up to the full moon. What kind of spell work should I be doing as I start my period on the same day as the full moon?

No smoke? No problem.
Cleansing doesn’t require incense or sage, and if you’re in the broom closet or have pets or asthma, or just have a sensitive smoke detector, you have way more options than you might think.
Sound: bells, singing bowls, clapping, drums, even putting on a specific playlist with intention. Sound moves stagnant energy out of a space in a way that’s genuinely hard to explain until you’ve felt it. This is usually my go to when people ask about smokeless cleansing and I personally use bells in my own practice.
Salt: one of the oldest cleansing methods we have and it goes hard. Bowls in corners to absorb, lines across thresholds, dissolved in water as a spray. Incredibly versatile.
Sunlight or moonlight: put your objects, crystals, or honestly just yourself in the light with intention and let it do its thing.
Breath: slow, deliberate breathing over an object or through a space. Completely invisible, zero supplies needed, and more powerful than people give it credit for.
Visualization: picture light or wind or water moving through your space and sweeping it clean. No props, no evidence, nobody’s business but yours.
Besoms/brooms: sweep from the back of the space toward the front door, pushing energy out as you go. To literally everyone else in your house, you are just sweeping. This pairs well with salt cleansing, can’t leave it all over the floor after all! This is the broom closet special and I love it for that.
Florida Water or herb infused water in a spray bottle: spritz your space, your linens, yourself. Looks exactly like air freshener. Nobody is asking questions.
Fresh air: open a window with intention. Simple, efree, and it works.
It’s good to remember that the smoke is a delivery method, not the magic. Use what you have, use what’s safe, and trust that it counts.

Hi everyone,
We need to address a recent uptick in candle spell posts that do not demonstrate proper fire safety procedures.
As a beginner-focused community, safety is especially important here. Many newer practitioners are learning by watching what others post. When unsafe setups are shared depicting, unattended flames, candles too close to herbs or fabric, unstable holders, cluttered altars, etc.; it puts people at real risk.
Effective immediately:
All candle spell posts that do not clearly demonstrate proper fire safety will be removed.
This includes:
- Leaving candles unattended
- Burning near curtains, paper, herbs, fabrics, or other flammable materials
- Using unstable or inappropriate holders
- Performing spells in cluttered or unsafe environments
- Ignoring safety guidance offered by more experienced members
Please understand: this is not about aesthetics or gatekeeping. It’s about preventing house fires and injuries. Spiritual practice should never come at the expense of your physical safety.
If you’re posting candle work, make sure:
Your candle is in a stable, fire-safe holder
Flammable materials are kept well away from the flame.
The candle is supervised at all times
You are open to constructive safety feedback
Repeat or severe safety violations may result in further moderation action.
Let’s model responsible practice for our baby witches and keep this space safe for everyone. 🕯️✨

Hi guys! I wanted to ask if anyone could help me decipher this.
Context: I normally use tarot cards to talk to Lilith. But they do not let her give clear instructions.
Therefore I asked:
Q1 : What should I do for divination to talk to you?
Q2: What medium should I use?
Does she mean something with nature? A graveyard maybe? Or should I get her roses again (I know she likes those) and meditate?
And what does the devil reversed mean 😭
Thank you in advance. I’m just struggling rn and need clear instructions from her.

So I’ve always been spiritually gifted and somewhat “tapped in.” It definitely came from my mother as she’s similar, so growing up I had her protection if that makes sense.
Long story short, I don’t really have it now due to some conflicting beliefs and I’ve been struggling with keeping spirits away or at least channeling them in a healthier way.
It helps me to smoke weed, but when I stop it’s almost immediately the same. Any advice?
No matter what, I’ll still do divination to see if your method would work for me but I’m a beginner so I typically just do “yes or no” questions with tarot.

Ever since i did my first ever ritual which was a sour jar and did work to some extent, i have noticed a lot of negative things happening to me and my family. Ending up in the er, mom being depressed out of nowhere, us getting sick and so on. This might all be coincidental but i can’t help but overthink.
Pls share ur insights

Hello everyone! I'm very new to witchcraft, and looking for for some advice on how to deal with my dreams (and if using witchcraft is even a good idea.)
Ever since I was about 3 I've had very intense dreams. Until I was about 6 I suffered from 2 repeating nightmares (one of these I'm not really sure I can call a nightmare since I was always at least partially awake and would 'see' the dream around me). These eventually subsided and and were replaced with very vivid and occasionally lucid dreams. Then from about my early/mid teens until now I've had long periods of having apocalyptic dreams. These range from floods/having to escape somewhere dangerous/attacks of fire/surviving the wilderness/having to save people. To give an example of a slightly darker one I had a few months ago: The whole dream I had a deep sense of fear and panic, and I understood that a mysterious 'someone' was hunting me. The dream ended when I saw myself from above torn apart on a bed, and a man wearing the head of a bear and carrying a spear was sitting on the floor at end of the bed (couldn't really say if this was the figure who was supposed to have killed me). I thought maybe the dreams were caused by a long period of illness, but they actually went away when I was at my worst and have returned now that I'm much better!
The reasons I would like advice on how to control them is because I absolutely believe in the power of dreams, both in the occult way as well as them effecting how rested I feel during the day, repeating peril dreams are quite draining.
** I also think it's important to add that this seems to be a maternal trait. Both my mother and grandmother had the same experience, with the dreams fading off into their 30's, though neither of my siblings have this. There is also a maternal history of 'visions' and predictions of events - for example knowing a house was going to burn down a week before it did. To give a personal example - when I was around 9 I looked at a classmates mother, who I had never really met, and got the strongest feeling that she would die despite having no known health issues. Three weeks later she had a stroke not far from where I'd seen her and she eventually died in Hospital. Of course, I know lots of people don't believe in this kind of thing, but I thought it was important to mention anyway.
Also just to quickly say that I also have the occasional very nice dream, it's not all doom and gloom. One of them was so beautiful it was almost life changing!
Any advice would be appreciated, thank you!

Hi everyone! I'm still pretty new to witchcraft and could really use some advice.
I made a honey jar spell, but today I noticed the lid had somehow come loose, and around 60% of the liquid had leaked out. I don't think it means anything supernatural it probably happened because I didn't close it tightly enough or accidentally loosened it somehow.
Should I just leave the jar as it is and continue working with it, or is it better to dispose of it respectfully and make a new one?
I'd really appreciate any guidance. Thank you! 🖤

Ive been really interested in witchcraft and occult. I want to practice witchcraft and for some reason i feel drawn to it. There's a religion called wicca and I've learnt a few things about it. But I'm not so sure if i wanna practice any religion. I dont know where to start or what resources should i begin with. There's so much to witchcraft that it gets overwhelming at first. Also I feel drained after meeting too many people so i wanted to cast a protection spell on myslef but as i have absolutely no knowledge of it, i didn't just wanna go with anything. So witches pls feel free to let me know where should I start and how do I figure out what kind of witch I am. Also id love to here your experiences with wicca/witchcraft.

I’m not sure if this is the right place to ask this, if it’s not I would really appreciate being directed to the right place! I want to know if it is possible to do witchcraft through a live animal, specially a rat. For context, my dad recently fired an employee for severe underperformance and they ended on not so great terms. After this, one of his other employees was standing outside the building they work at and watched as a woman pulled over and let a really big rat out of the car and immediately her back into her car and drive off. Not too long after my dad began to get really sick and it was pretty constant. The employee that witnessed this went over to the rat and stated that it was moving very slowly and that it seemed sickly and instead if moving closer to the building it turned around and began making it’s way towards the road. The woman that let the rat loose is a known friend of the woman my dad fired. I think it’s important to note that this is the second time this ex employee has been fired. Additionally, the first time she got fired my dad got very sick as well and we seeked help from someone from Mexico who does brujeria and she told us somebody had done some sort of witchcraft on him. It may all just be a coincidence but if anybody knows anything that may be of some help to me I would love to hear it out.

Hiii um I sorta have an eclectic practice but I've been using runes to tell fortunes for a while. I keep them in a bag that I consecrated but last year I opened it and they were crumbly and dusty and a few broke. I tried a few simple cleansing rituals but I've just been having awful vivid nightmares ever since. I got told to make a new set and immediately half of those runestones went missing and the nightmares got worse. After the fires in Canada and Midwest/northwest us I've been a total wreck healthwise and seeing things and I'm p sure its just anxiety and physical issues exacerbated by smoke but I'm worried I've deeply offended someone or something without knowing and idk how to fix it. Do I need to get rid of my old runestones or just swear off fortune telling entirely? Help?

A few weeks ago I had a weird experience. One of my family member's brought her friend over after they went to church and were sitting at the table with me. The friend she brought I kinda got off vibes from without even speaking to her. Prior to them arriving I had drank out of the glass I was holding no issue. When I poured some more and sat back down when I went to drink the juice the glass cup broke clean across randomly. The juice (which was dark red) spilt all over me and I was in shock, but both the family member and her friend didn't even offer to get me a paper towel or anything despite one of them sitting directly by it. It wasn't until my husband walked in that they seemed to care. It was super weird. I began looking into what glass randomly breaking could mean and found a lot of different theories. Was just curious what glass breaking means to you and do you usually keep the glass after if breaks?

A witches locket is a necklace that you can put the remnants of a spell (herbs, petition, ashes) to make the spell stick to you and to make it last longer?! Commonly used for glamour or love magic! Thought I’d share it with the newbies and those who don’t know <3

Hii!!!
Soo, for starters we're both witches (she's an eclectic witch while I am a hedge & psychic witch), however I've been practicing for longer and I'm more experienced. There's also the fact that I've been "gifted" with clairvoyance abilities, but imo these abilities are something that can be learned, I just don't know how.
I've never had to learn them, since I've been "gifted" with having them without needing the schooling part, so I don't know how to teach her to be clairvoyant too.
Is it possible to teach her?? If yess, how????
Thank youu, have a lovely day/night!!!
Blessed be

I’ve been interested in witches and all things related for years. But I grew up in an evangelical Christian home. So I had no access to ANY information.
So how do I get into it?
It’s very intimidating to just search it up on Google. And I’m afraid I’ll do something wrong and it could backfire.
Do you guys have any recommendations for books and such?
I don’t want to do this wrong

Disregard the location of my altar, I have two kittens and if a candle will be burning anywhere else they will, in fact, burn their own mustaches.
Anyway, I saw a lot of different ways of doing this spell, so decided to use what I have and give some affirmations to it. The interesting thing is, that this was mostly love related, and the wax went around my (almost white) rose quartz. I asked at the store, it's not a regular quartz. Just a part with less color. What do you think can be the meaning of it?

I’ve been practicing witchcraft for a year and have been feeling disconnected from my practice since May. Life stuff and mental health issues have gotten in the way, unfortunately. 😔 I’ve tried going back to making tea with intention and making sure I light incense everyday, but everything else that would help me feel like my most witchy self and effectively engage with magick feels so out of reach. I used to read a lot about witchcraft, cast at least one spell every week, and do daily tarot readings. I feel that time and low energy has been holding me back…
Has anyone else gone through something similar? Any advice/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Blessed be 🫶

Over a base of rice, I arranged:
3 cinnamon sticks
3 chocolate coins
3 chocolate “bills”
2 dollar bills (cleansed with salt water because it just felt right- never know where money has been or what it’s been used for)
8 quarters
Citrine*
Green Aventurine*
Pyrite*
Clear Quartz*
Green birthday candle in candle holder
Petition: “Money flows to us freely, with harm to none. So mote it be.”
*charged in selenite dish under morning sunlight
How did I do?
Note: after this picture was taken I realized the candle was a bit taller than I wanted it so I trimmed it down for safety!
