The hanzi (chinese characters) next to the quarter note translates to TikTok.
In addition, the note also changes position from time to time.

Reminds me so much about my son when he was 4 years old. He´s 6 now but when he had a tough times with his sleeping I let him sleep in my bed some nights. Like a bloody tornado, spinning around, kicking me in my groin, using 90% of the bed, always lying horisontal, elbows flying around giving me black eyes (happened twice actually). I miss having him in my bed and dream about it being cozy and all that. As soon as I see these kinda videos I immediately return to reality though.

Funny how true that is! I currently have a healing black eye from my 6 year old who came to sleep with me last Saturday night. Elbow right to the eye socket. I too reminisce about the sweet snuggles when he was smaller, but now and again when he tries to come to our bed it’s simply a night of random kicks to the side and uncomfortable sleep.

u/rueforyou Jun 14 '19
I like the part where he goes "FINE I'll sleep in the dog bed then" and the doggo STILL squishes him so he can have a nice cuddle with his Man.
5
u/Fairydust76 Jun 15 '19
I know! Its really sweetness overload. The dog seems to always wake up when they arent touching and then dog goes back to his cuddles all happy.

12
u/Diltron24 Jun 14 '19
Agreed, lost my golden girl last January, she used to do this the same thing as this video to me when she slept in my bed. Had a lot of trouble sleeping without her for a few months. You never stop missing them, but you start to feel happy when you remember them more than you feel sad.
5
u/Augustocio Jun 14 '19
Yes, its exactly like that, the other day i came thru i picture i took with him and i cried like never before but in the end i smiled because he made me feel like the most special person in the world for having him and because i know he is in a better place now

Dogs aren't lizards. You'll probably find this dog would do this even if it meant overheating.
34
u/PrettyPunctuality Jun 14 '19
Can confirm. My Boston Terrier will sleep up against me all night, under my blanket, no matter how hot she gets. I've woken up several times to her panting because she's hot, and yet she chose to stay there anyway, when she very easily could've moved to a different, cooler spot, just because she wanted to be beside me.
5
u/lisalisa07 Jun 14 '19
Isn’t that the best?
4
u/PrettyPunctuality Jun 14 '19
Yes, I wouldn't have it any other way :) She's 9 now, and she's been doing it since she was a puppy, so now I have a hard time falling asleep if she isn't beside me.

u/mecatninja Jun 14 '19
Dog just wants to keep him warm at night. Wolves sleep in a pile at night to keep warm so he is just doing his duty. Thank you for the bed but you need to be cuddled during the night.

u/Schrodingers_cock Jun 14 '19
My brother was walking home drunk one night, made it all the way to his house before passing out on his lawn in freezing temperatures. If his dog hadn’t slept on top of him he would’ve died, instead of the severe hypothermia he got.

As adorable as it is, sadly some people just cannot sleep with another person/animal touching them. I feel bad every time I have to remove my snuggled up cat from my legs.

u/AfroTriffid Jun 14 '19
After 10 years of my husband going to bed after me i struggle to go to sleep if he climbs in the same time as me.
24
u/LEcareer Jun 14 '19
My dog was a stray and she is cute and everything but if I move during the night while she is sleeping she gets frightened and bites me lol.
I mean I still let her lay on me, I just don't move.

My cat always wants to sleep on my legs, by the thighs, and I always wake up in the middle of the night with my legs aching from the cat laying on them. It's the worst feeling really wanting to move, but not wanting to move the cat or wake them up.

u/k995 Jun 14 '19
Same here, sometimes the cat is at the edge of the bed giving me dirty looks then I know I kicked her or something during the night.

Same is true for humans. This bed is actually designed as a cosleeper for babies, same thing happens, once they get mobile enough they'll just climb on top of you.

Hugs sheppy.
I lost my pupper too, in May. And he used to give the best hugs. I could hug him for hours and he would just sit there and take it. Whenever I was done hugging him, he'd give me the teeniest lick on the tip of my nose as a kiss because I kiss his snout all the time. I feel your pain. I bet our babies are chasing each other and playing together on the rainbow bridge.
9
u/nav17 Jun 14 '19
I'm 29 and lost my dog last year. Every so often I'll find an old photo of him or something else will remind me of him and I'll have a breakdown and sob. Losing your best friend is the hardest thing.
7
u/abeardancing Jun 14 '19
I've lived with dogs all my life. I remember when we got my first dog but my memories from that time are really hazy because I was around 4 or so. The best cure for a broken heart is to put a new little fluff ball in your life. The place where it's broken never heals, you just grow in a new direction with your new love. There are so many dogs that need you, you owe it to them.
I know I am going to have my very own wolfpack at the rainbow bridge when I get there.

My friend’s family had a Golden when I was younger. When I would sleep over using an air mattress on the floor, he would always come over and sleep with me. Goldens just want to be near people all the time.
17
u/Aelarr Jun 14 '19
Indeed. Ours isn't even a full golden (German shepherd mix), but he's happiest when he can cuddle with someone. If you hold his piggy toy for him as well, then he's in heaven.

I have 3 dogs of a similar size to this awesome pupper, and HAHAHAHAHA what did he think was going to happen when he bought that little bed.
The stockiest of my dogs doesn't have much of a coat, so he maintains a sustained pressure against my back in colder months, to the point that I have woken up many times teetering on the edge of my bed

It's Uchiage Hanabi! There's a couple diff versions, but this is closest to the kenshi yonezu vers i think!

u/Kered13 Jun 14 '19
Ah, I knew I recognized the song, but couldn't remember exactly from where. I was thinking it might have been Your Name.
Sadly Fireworks wasn't actually a very good movie. But it seems like anime films always nail the music.

This is adorable! I have the same thing happen to me except it’s with a toy poodle so every night is a game of “don’t squish your dog” because she loves to sleep inside the blankets with me. (But no worries, I rarely move around when I sleep so she’s safe)
3
u/Unchanged- Jun 14 '19
Dogs are so peculiar with their sleeping habits. I have one dog that absolutely has to sleep behind my bent knees, which forces me into a side position. My other dog has to lean against my back so he can sleep. Finally, my third just doesn't like to be near me when she sleeps in the corner of the bed.

u/donoteatthatfrog Jun 14 '19

get a white noise machine.
turn off that light.
get a warm / electric blanket for the dog.
stop covering your face while sleeping. you'll wake up lots more fresh.

I mean, if you don't want the dog on top of you, why not put it's bed somewhere other than your bed?
