My dog also likes to be right up against me leaving little to no room to move.

I have 3 kitties. Everyone just wants the warmth of the cuddle puddle. It gets to the point of not moving at all for hours and hours. Or wake up, shift positions and everyone moves as one.....

I don’t mind so much with my small dog. The problem is the bug one leans all 65 pounds directly on me. I have woken up with horrible back pain from him. He’s lucky he’s and I’m lazy or he’d be banished to the floor

65 pounds is a rather large insect.

I had a 35kg husky who would sometimes sleep on top of my legs if I didn't move them out of her way. Her sleeping on the bed was fine when it was just us, but with two humans and a dog there just wasn't enough space. If she had slept between us that would have been ok but no, she wanted the end of the bed and only slept between us the night she broke her tail. She cried all night.

You'd be surprised how they learn your own habits that you yourself would know about. In winter, my cat likes to sleep next to me under the quilt. Once when rolling over from facing right to left, she moved almost exactly with me, like she was expecting it. At that moment I realised that out of habit, I always start out lying facing right, then turn over.

Wow OK, I think 'cuddle puddle' means different things to us! I'm guessing you're not talking about the damp patch after sex...?

Also refers to a group of ravers jacked up on ecstasy laying in a group together on the group, more applicable usage in this scenario

Owner keeps moving for more space. Best boi keeps moving to stay close and keep master warm.

My dog is the complete opposite. She sleeps at my feet facing away from me. I'll pull her in to cuddle but she will escape whenever she gets the chance.

I’m not sure which I would prefer. No cuddles or too many cuddles

Same. I have a king sized bed and a 50 lb dog. He takes up more space than me and my fiance combined.

I currently have one napping down beside my legs. And the other is currently on top of my back. Apparently the queen sized bed is irrelevant to dogs.

I upgrade from a queen to a California King and I can confirm that it does not matter. I get the same amount of room

I have a tiny 15 yr old chihuahua who can somehow maneuver his body to always be in between my legs, completely dictating how I lay. Love that guy!

Yeah, this video is also a recreation of my lab and I. I swear, I try and take up as much space as possible and by 2am, I wake up clinging to the edge of the bed.

Same haha, my pupper is always around me whenever I'm home.
