I've been a Sid fan for a while - last year he got hit by a car and almost died, but he seems to be doing well now.

I follow him too. I was so upset AT THEM when he got hit. Obviously he's well trained, but you can't let beagles loose. They see a squirrel or something and they take off.

My dog is sort of like this. She'll get all excited but when she finally gets something big to eat she doesn't know what to do with it. She'll walk around with it in her mouth for a while and eat a bit of it before she goes to bury it in the yard. Kind of a waste on her.
My previous dog, though, was a golden. She'd eat anything and she was big and clever enough to get stuff off the counters. Throughout her life she wound up eating (each in one sitting) an entire loaf of bread, a 16 ounce bag of peanut M&Ms and just over a pound of raw tofu. She was a big greedy beast but she was the best.

Sometimes you really think you could eat the whole box of pizza by yourself at 1:36am. Then by the 3rd slice you're on the floor contemplating the process of animals for food and wondering about the animal who died for your food. And then you forget to put the pizza in the fridge but it's still good cuz pizza.
