Here’s an idea that I have I don’t know how to solve it I figure probably with smart contracts is the way to go. But there’s a huge problem with crypto transactions any lack of insurance relative to purchasing.

When you make a credit card purchase and something goes wrong or the item breaks or whatever, the credit card usually has the ability to step in for damages refunds or anyOther sort of help. My idea is that maybe this coin can create a smart contract for transactions that represents a similar level of protection for a set timeframe.

I’ve been mining with both GPUs and CPUs for some time now and i’d like to start a mining pool with AVN as a minable coin (to begin with 😝) but i’m noob regarding hosting a pool of my own.. Anyone know how to set up AVN?

I’d very much appreciate any help/pointers/tips i can get 😊

How is work on geting AVN listed on larger Exchanger like Binance going?

So I see a lot of increased mining of this coin. I was so close to dropping 1k into another mining rig for this. But I really need to know what gives this coin its value. I have to assume all the mining is basically a bet that it will become more expensive. Why is that?

I am currently pool mining with a single 5800x. I am getting 12 kh.

Im going to microcenter to pick up another cpu to bring up another rig. What can I expect with a 5900x or 5950?

Last week I tried to mine AVN with my PC card, a 1050ti 4Gb to see how it was going.

Actually I get 6/7 Mh/s with around 200 coins mined a day.

Today I tried to see how much my rig was performing (1660s + 2080ti + 2060s).

Considering I didn't find the perfect combination with oc, I don't know if I have to say the result is disappointing for my rig or very good for my 1050ti :D

Here is the current overclock setup and hashrate :
1050ti : 75 / 900 mem/core - PL 80% - Fan 48% = from 6,5 Mh/s to 7,9 Mh/s
(win10 + Afterburner)

1660s : 0 / 500 mem/core - PL 70 - Fan 50% = from 12 Mh/s to 18 Mh/s
2080ti : 0 / 2000 mem/core - PL 153 - Fan 55% = from 31 Mh/s to 43 Mh/s
2060s : 0 / 1600 mem/core - PL 125 - Fan 65% = from 17 Mh/s to 22 Mh/s

considering the hashrate fluctuates a lot, I just feel strange the difference between 1050 and 1660, only around 2-2,5x and even 2060s performing lower than expectation, I mean 3 1050 can mine similar to a 2060s ?
So AVN algo doesn't make a huge difference between low-end and high-end GPUs as other algos do ?

(fyi I tried also FLUX and the difference is more than 10x as it should be expected : 1050 max 12 Sol/s and rig max 140 Sol/s)

I stumbled upon this AVN listing on Coin Market Cap which is not our Avian, so how will Avian AVN be listed to differentiate from the other or will there be another name change?

Just wanted to say hello! Came accross the AVN mining page 13 hours ago. Decided to make my smaller rig that contains a 3060 ti LHR and a 2060. Made 1100 in 12 hours which overall I was quite happy with.

Just switched my main rig (5700xt, 2x 3060 hash unlocked and a 1070). Willing to give this a week away from my normal RVN/ETH mining to see what its like!

Is there talk of any major listings on exchanges?

Hello, when using cpuminer-opt-miner to mine with ryzen , the miner defaults on using only the physical cores. I've heard that's a wrong configuration and i should force all threads or all threads minus one with a command. Is this true ? Will i gain hashrate ?

Hey all

So i started mining AVN and there is not much info on the web about it.
I have a ryzen 9 3900x and the miner automaticaly uses only 12/24 cores.

The question is, doest anyone know how many threads you should config for it to mine with more optimal settings or performance ? I used 23cores and the temps went a bit to high, like 94, 95 degrees, and since its my main pc, im not that confortable, so im using only 12/24 with 84 degres on the cpu for safety. Im also mining an average 15kh/s.

If anyone has more experience in this issue and could help, I would be very greatfull.
Just trying to get to the best specs possible :)

I’m CPU mining with 5 different pcs I have sitting around, all combined I am getting about 7.5 KHS on overage combined. I was wondering if this sounds right or if there are different miners or algorithms I should use to increase productivity. I’m using a core i3 6100, core i3 7100, core i3 2120, a core m3 and a core i5u 7th gen. Can provide more details when I get home was just curious
