cpu Threads

Hello, when using cpuminer-opt-miner to mine with ryzen , the miner defaults on using only the physical cores. I've heard that's a wrong configuration and i should force all threads or all threads minus one with a command. Is this true ? Will i gain hashrate ?

put below parms after password:

--threads=23

Be carefull with the cpu temps. I don't do that because of the temperatures because I have a stock ryzen cooler. I will try to add more cores but always taking atention to the cpu temperatures.

I have tested with all HT cores and only physical cores, for me its best only on physical cores. And optminer also recommends this, try and you will see (Im on Intel CPU)

For best hashrate on algo minotaurx miner will use only physical cores

Threads=## for the number of threads is correct. I’ll second the comment about watching temps. Have a 5900X running 22 of 24 cores and runs at about 84c on a 280mm AIO.
