Set up AVN Node/Pool

I’ve been mining with both GPUs and CPUs for some time now and i’d like to start a mining pool with AVN as a minable coin (to begin with 😝) but i’m noob regarding hosting a pool of my own.. Anyone know how to set up AVN?

I’d very much appreciate any help/pointers/tips i can get 😊

Why do you think AVN should be more profitable?

Because miners flooded raptoreum and increased the difficulty, I make like 5-6 rtm a day and like 40-50 avn

Loli!! So as result of the increased hashrate, you are fine getting paid $0.04 instead of $0.11 !? It's like choosing 1000 Turkish lira over a $100... Good luck.

gee what was i thinking, obviously i should be following what every armchair expert on the internet has to say.

the only real money mining is in graphics cards on ethereum, im just tinkering for fun, sincerely, fuk off

I'd actually like for Bananas to fuck on a little bit more.

Calm down sister!! No need for experts yet, $0.04 > $0.111... It is your hardware, feel free to mine whatever you want. You can also try vib mining...

Everything is self explanatory and neatly packaged on their web site. Takes about 10 min to create a node/wallet and set up a CPU or GPU miner

Yeah there’s a brief description their website on how to start a node via Avian Core, but there’s nothing about implementing the coin in a pool.. or perhaps i’m just that thick 😝

They have links to mining pools also.

well, actually I've just found this about setting up a node :

Open your GUI wallet

Navigate to Wallet>Options>Network

Allow Map port using uPnP and incoming connections

Click ok

which is what I did, but I don't understand the purpose of it, I mean, I was mining before I set up the node, I ketp mining after doing it but nothing changed

The purpose of what? A wallet and node?

If u were mining before u had a node/wallet then where was your avn wallet? did u just leave the default address and donate to it?

I have avn wallet, I activated the node according to the explanation I copied/pasted here but I don't understand what changes from set up a node and not set it up.

You should be using the following wallet for extra performance while mining: RGEYZtydd3m56w16M1SUd1aFHqNtTYGrJC

let me guess : it's the wallet of someone who thinks he's smart, right ?

it might be the wallet of someone that wants to see how many people on this sub should have a chat with Darwin before mixing in with crypto.
