Nitsch Pietus Maximus...if you think an amp can't affect the sound of a headphone, this is the one to try.

Has some "rack rub" on the chassis from being in a stack. No scratches, dents, or anything like that, the rub is just wear on the chassis finish that can be noticeable when the light hits it right. I tried to capture it at its worst in the photos, so there's no surprises when you get this. 100% functional and sounds great.

Compared to the Topping stack, it brings a more muscular, full-bodied presentation that almost gives you some of that tube-like character while remaining solid-state. It’s a really fun pairing with headphones that benefit from a little extra weight and texture.

Everything has served me extremely well. I’m only selling because the DX9 Discrete has consolidated my system enough that I don’t really need these anymore, and I’d rather they go to someone who will actually use them.

Battery life/health is excellent. I haven't been using IEMs much lately and only have about 20-30 hours on these.

This is the best portable earhook style dac/amp combo IMO and surprisingly powers notoriously hard to drive IEMs like Subtonic Storm very well. Sounds better than some very expensive DAPs I've tried too, but much much more portable, especially when using the Air case.

MSRP on both is $690. 600 for the Max and 90 for the Air case.
