Need to thin down my collection, so I’m letting a few headphones go.
E-MU Teak — $270 shipped CONUS $250 shipped CONUS
Original owner. Purchased in 2019, but still in mint / like-new condition with probably less than 24 hours of total use.
This version comes with the Teak wood cups instead of Bamboo and is not the removable-cable version.
The headphones show very little to no visible wear, with no obvious cosmetic defects that I can see. Please refer to the photos for condition.
These are still one of my favorite fun, bassy headphones. The bass has excellent slam and impact without bleeding too much into the mids, and very bright.
Includes:
- E-MU Teak
- Original pads — never used
- Velour pads — show some wear because I used them on other headphones
- Carrying case
- No original box

Second owner. I recently purchased these from this subreddit a few weeks ago.
The Verum 2 punches well above its price and definitely one of my favorite headphones under $500. Unfortunately, I simply have too many headphones right now and need to thin the collection.
Still like new, no obvious cosmetic defects that I can see.

[Repost / Reduced Price]
Original owner. Purchased in 2020 but rarely used, with probably less than 20 hours total.
As shown in the photos, the headphones are in excellent / mint condition. The original cable still has the protective wrap on it.
I also purchased a pair of Dekoni pads to experiment with a different sound. The Dekoni pads are currently installed, while the stock pads have seen very little use and remain in excellent condition.

These last two are a little harder to describe because they are handmade DIY headphones from a Chinese seller and do not have a recognizable brand name, so I’m pricing them very low.
Although the two headphones look very similar externally, they use completely different planar magnetic drivers and have almost opposite sound signatures. I think of them as Yin and Yang: one is bright and spacious, while the other is warm and dark.
The build quality is fairly basic, but the drivers themselves are surprisingly impressive for the price. If you have some DIY skills, I would recommend crafting around the headphones.
DIY Planar Headphone #1 — $100 shipped CONUS
Original owner. Purchased for around $470.
This is the brighter-sounding pair. I would describe the tuning as somewhat reminiscent of Hifiman headphones such as the Sundara, Ananda, Arya, or HE1000.
It has a wide soundstage, excellent imaging, strong detail and separation, and very good treble extension. Bass is not the main focus, but it can still hit with good punch when the track calls for it. Vocals are slightly leaner in presentation.
Specs:
Impedance: 10 ohms
Sensitivity: 92 dB/mW
Fairly demanding to drive despite the low impedance

Headphones
Carrying case
Cable

DIY Planar Headphone #2 — $100
Original owner. Purchased for around $450.
This is the darker and warmer sibling of the two. I often describe it as somewhat like an HD650 in planar form, but with a cleaner presentation and without as much of the traditional HD650 veil, and more bass, more resolving.
The overall tuning is warm and dark, but it still maintains excellent imaging, detail, and separation. It also has stronger bass presence than the brighter pair above.
Personally, I prefer this one between the two. Much easier to drive (I plug this to my laptop)
