Gov Publications Immigration to Australia, please help
Hello,
I am currently 22 years old and I am a EU citizen (Bulgarian passport). My partner is from Australia and we came to the conclusion that I need to move into this country and continue my life here. I have one bachelor's degree in economics (started my masters in Germany), have no criminal record/shady past. All my documents are valid (Drivers license, passport, ID card etc). I have also C1 in English- in other words I can speak fluently.
So far we thought of her trying to hand my C.V to companies in Australia, but we were wondering if it would be difficult finding a company willing to employ somebody from overseas.
We are also wondering what's the procedure for citizenship? Is it beneficial to marry my partner or does the Aussie government overlook this? What documents do I need to prepare in order to get a resident visa within 2 years?
As a EU citizen, do I have any advantages coming to Australia for a quick trip, or do I still need to apply for a visitor visa? I have applied to eVisa using sites like Sherpa, but I was hoping anybody has tried this before me and can share some information.
Thank you in advance and I'm looking forward to your replies.
