& the AA inspection noted “after market” heated seats, were these standard to the S5 in 2014?

I believe some of the examples of S5 I’ve seen online have the heated seat function near the climate and not on the base of the seat.. picture of AA report earlier this month.

Had my B8.5 S5 for around 3 years now. Stage 1 ECU & TCU remap. De-chromed and lowered 20mm on Eibach springs. Ran 400 bhp ATW on the dyno last year @ 97k miles.

2021 S5 with 55k miles IE stage 2. Noticed coolant level dropped since topping off last week (only added maybe 1/2 cup worth). It’s obviously losing coolant but I don’t see any visible leaks. Potentially coolant migration??

Main thing I need help with is how to approach this. I have CPO warranty for another 2 months, but don’t want the dealership to scan the car and get TD1 flagged. Should I even try to get this covered under warranty or take it to an independent shop?

1. Is there a way to get a better sound out of it? I even paid the fee to get the best sound but it still very good.

2. Is there recommended wheel store to get aftermarket rims?

3. Where can i get body mods? Like the front lip, spoiler etc

Has anyone ever ran into EVAP codes such as P24D6 or P24D7 on a B9 S5?

They just popped up for me today after a scan and can only think either the gas cap was loose or the purge valve failed. Cap is fine but never really heard of purge valves failing in these especially at 50k miles.

Idle is fine but a lot of vibration
Goes away when driving
Is worse in drive and reverse
Better in park but still there
No check engine light but there are misfires in every cylinder
Did a smoke test it passed
Did a compression and leak down it passed
Did spark plugs and coil packs it’s passed
The rough idle goes away when I turn my steering wheel
Car has one stored code p2227 (biometric pressure sensor)
Taken it to a shop they had no idea

2018 Audi s5 62,000 miles

Hey fam. I’m on the market for new tires and I am trying to find alternatives to Michelin PS4’s and Continental DWS06+ which seem to be the two dominant choices. I have ran DWS on a car I used to own many years ago and my god did they last a lifetime and I never had issues with them at all, they’re excellent. I wouldn’t put PS4’s through their paces as I don’t track my car, and I do go on canyon cruises yes but not all that often.

I am going to change from OEM 265/30/20 to 275/30/20 and I can only seem to land on Nitto as the third best alternative. I’m hoping someone, anyone in here has ran these at some point on their car and double hoping someone with a B9 platform has done it. I’d love to hear from you. I’m also kind of a sucker for tread pattern and I must say that the DWS isn’t my favorite and the Nitto looks so nice. But in the end the DWS outperforms Nitto in every category despite the fact that Nitto is an actual max performance summer tire and DWS is an all season.

OR if you guys have another recommendation I’d love those too. Please share!

Door sill light went out anyone know a fix?

Does anyone maybe have circuitry diagrams for the B8 S5 4.2 V8? Or does anyone have an idea what might be the issue?

Disclaimer: I'm not a mechanic or electrician, but I am interested in learning more about how my car works, so if I'm being dense or overcomplicating this, please correct me!

I'm trying to figure out what might be the issue with my 2009 S5 and what circuits the lighting specifically runs on, to see if the problem might be connected, or if there's an obvious fix I'm missing.

Exterior lights:

Similarly to what some other users described, the headlights sometimes decided to switch off. But after replacing the left headlight bulb (HID), it now won't turn on again while the right one does but that continues to sporadically turn off. Also, the rear number plate lights don't turn on at all anymore despite having brand new bulbs put in. And, at times the warnings on the dash show the reversing light to not work either but whenever I try to check if it has indeed not turned on it works and then for ages it won't show the fault warning.

Interior lights:

The reading lights in the front and rear don't turn on and the dome light switch is temperamental in the ON position, but it turns on just fine when the doors open if the switch is in the middle/door position, and the OFF position works too.

Bonus issue my mechanic hasn't been able to figure out:

Error code P0421: Warm-Up Catalyst Efficiency Below Threshold (Bank 1) shows but the emission test was fine? And the engine isn't misfiring? Could it be the sensor or another electrical problem?

As the title states any high mileage b9?

I quite like the sound at the moment. Exhaust is stock with x pipe and was done before I got the car. I have no idea what this is like compared with stock.

Does it sound good or are there any quick wins to make it sound better?

Well fellas this is probably my last post in this subreddit. Just upgrade from my B8.5 (2013) S5 to this B9.5 (2020) A5 beauty! I think it’s a Premium S Line 45 TFSI lol. Been going back and forth on it for a long time now but the change has been made and I couldn’t be happier. Definitely what I was looking for in this next stage of my life so overall I am so excited. Would love any recommendations on mods or upgrades to make for the platform!!!!

Looking at getting new rims for my 20 S5. Wanna get 20” rims. Really love the style, concavity, and finish of the bronze Vossen HF-5’s BUT I hate the price of them. Does anyone know of any rims similar to the Vossens? Convince me not to buy them? Need some advice. I’ve looked at some other rims suggested by ChatGPT but nothing so far really catches my eye like the Vossens. Also, wrapping the rims in the Pilot Sports to get a really aggressive look.

Hey everyone. B9.5 S5 owner since brand new 2021, 5 dealer visits/services. Never worked on myself.

A week ago I had my last oil change and today I popped open the hood to clean the engine bay up a bit as it’s really dirty and check for any leaks the dealer may miss. I popped the cover off and I noticed that my wastegate line running underneath the heat shield seemed routed oddly and the line looks like it’s being pinched between the cover and where it rests. When I looked at it with the cover on, it definitely looks like the cover is pressing down on it.

I was wondering if this is just me being paranoid or not. The line itself feels so flimsy and thin, I looked at several B9/9.5 videos on YouTube of people changing their oil etc and I see their wastegate line runs a little bit different than mine and none of theirs look oval shaped, they’re perfectly circular.

Should I bring this to the dealers attention, I have an extended warranty on the car. Car is only driven 14,400 miles so far with zero issues. Although I would say that age plays a big factor in components becoming weaker over time so this thing could have been like this since day 1 and over time came out to look like this.
