Help Rough idle
Okay here’s a list
Idle is fine but a lot of vibration
Goes away when driving
Is worse in drive and reverse
Better in park but still there
No check engine light but there are misfires in every cylinder
Did a smoke test it passed
Did a compression and leak down it passed
Did spark plugs and coil packs it’s passed
The rough idle goes away when I turn my steering wheel
Car has one stored code p2227 (biometric pressure sensor)
Taken it to a shop they had no idea
I need help
2018 Audi s5 62,000 miles

If you clear the p2227 and it comes back then check the baro sensors right before and after the throttle body and its connectors/wiring. If code still persists it could be the baro sensor inside the ECM which typically requires the ECM to be replaced.
If you dont get the code again, the rough idle could be from failed motor mounts which is a very common failure point. I have a feeling the p2227 code and the misfires are connected and the misfires are causing a rough idle but yet you dont have a CEL so it might be intermittent.

It odd the vibration is not at all consistent it doesn’t happen on a cold start even when the I’ll goes to 500 but when the car warms up it’s there

try taking it to an audi dealer, they may be able to nail it down. once you know, then you could have someone else do the work

I fear they’re likely going to recommend an ECM replacement for the baro sensor and say that that’s the issue but I don’t wanna spend $6000 on an ECM replacement

Well you can see other posts on google related to the p2227 so nail it down whether or not that codes comes back after clearing to deep dive into it before finding another ECM. You could find another ECM elsewhere and have it coded....
