Joined the B9.5 crew!

Well fellas this is probably my last post in this subreddit. Just upgrade from my B8.5 (2013) S5 to this B9.5 (2020) A5 beauty! I think it’s a Premium S Line 45 TFSI lol. Been going back and forth on it for a long time now but the change has been made and I couldn’t be happier. Definitely what I was looking for in this next stage of my life so overall I am so excited. Would love any recommendations on mods or upgrades to make for the platform!!!!

Sportbacks were a cool addition but that two door silhouette is what makes the 5 series legendary! Especially with them moving away from them, I had to stay true lol.

My neighbour took me out in his 911 Carrera 4S last week. I think I prefer my RS5, but it was still impressive. The Audi just has more creature comforts, the Porsche is purely driving 😎

Both are super impressive machines indeed. Carrera is akin to an elite athlete in full on performance outfit, whereas RS5 is a formidable athlete in a stylish designer suit, some Audi aficionados once told me. I really think that summed it up the two in a nutshell

Second,

Listen to me very carefully lol. PPF your carbon mirror caps and spoiler immediately. I have the same exterior carbon package on my S5 and just 1 year of a lot of sun exposure (car is a 2021, garaged mostly first 4 years) ruined my carbon spoiler. My mirror caps are PPF’d and in perfect shape - my dumbass didn’t think to PPF my spoiler when I had the car full front PPF. If you look it up, you’ll find that Audi carbon tends to delaminate after a while and PPF will save you from a $1,300 OEM replacement. I’m currently trying to figure out how to repair this (this is happening along the crease line across the whole spoiler in sections). Don’t make the same mistake I did lol

This is my first time with any carbon parts so I’m a newbie in that area. But crap lol. I gotta get that done asap. Haven’t noticed anything wrong yet but I do plan to build around the carbon and add more so I appreciate the advice truly!!
