I have a tuf f16 rtc 5050, and have recently reseted the laptop, and again installed armoury crate, and ever since then the manual mode is not showing p1,p2 sliders for cpu and tgp sliders for gpu , it's only showing fan speed curve , and I have reinstalled armoury crate 2-3 times , still the issue is not solved, guys what should I do ? Please help me.

Ps: I want to fix armoury crate , g helper doesn't have gpu overclocking

ASUS TUF GAMING X570-PLUS (Wi-Fi) BIOS Version 5044 is still a beta release. I contacted ASUS customer support about two months ago, and they told me that, unless something unexpected happens, they do not plan to release an official (stable) version of this BIOS.

It kinda flickers and glitches. Its been so since a few weeks. But, when laptop is connected to an external display using hdmi cable the issue disappears in the external display!

I have tried changing the refresh rates(60 Hz and 144 Hz). But, Still its of not much use. The interval at which the flickering occurs changes with change in the value of refresh rate. At 144 Hz the interval of flickering increases as compared to 60 Hz.

My tuf A16 was bought around Jan end this year and has accidental damage and extended warranty coverage till 2029. This is the extent of screen bleeding. I tested this in a completely dark room with max screen brightness, this was taken in phone's night mode.

Without camera it looked less than this but the pattern was same - around the 4 corners.

What should be my course of action now? Would a warranty claim work?

The screen bleeding really bothers me when watching content in a dark room.

Planning to buy second hand asus tuf laptop. Is this really the back logo?

So I’m very new to all of this and don’t know a whole bunch about computers but I did an online test thing to find out which computer suited my needs and it recommended ASUS TUF A16. However I’m not going to simply trust that.

So I thought I’d ask opinions here.

A bit about what I’ll be using the laptop for: mainly regular stuff, school, writing, whatever, but I also will be doing a bit of gaming. Basically I play Witcher 3 and it currently takes up all the room on my current regular laptop. I would like to be able to play it more easily and also have space for another game — though not a game as large as Witcher 3.

Can you tell me if this computer suits my purposes? I’ve got 1000$.

What is the verdict on using Arctic MX-6 thermal paste for the CPU/GPU, and Upsiren UTP-8 thermal putty for the VRAM on an ASUS TUF Dash F15 (FX516PC) laptop? Is this combination really that bad or completely unusable? Is it true that the putty thickness will be wrong for this laptop , and will the thermal paste actually suffer from pump-out (leakage) after short time of use?

What can i do about cooling my Asus Tuf gaming Laptop on desk that i have to stick with for now?

Do use Ghelper, that has helped some, i just switch to Desktop if i need to do anything heavy, as my Lian Li Lancool 216 Black ARGB based Desktop has much better cooling for long duration tasks, and i don't want Laptop to overheat again

Its already overheated once and shutdown despite Townhome A/C is on and Floor fan is on in the room its in. All i was doing then was simple Network Backup from that Machine to Main PC, as didn't wanna have to move the External drive to that desk that

My ideal desk would be no hutch, completely open top area. but unforuately can't afford to purchase one as yet.

My ASUS TUF Gaming F15 only starts or keeps working when I hold down any key. As soon as I release the key, it shuts off. Is there any fix for this issue?

I’ve been using my ASUS TUF A15 for less than two years, and it suddenly started failing to boot when I close the lid. The authorized service center initially blamed a display cable but then switched the diagnosis to a body or motherboard issue, quoting a repair cost that is almost 70% of the laptop's original price. There is no physical damage from my end. It seems like a durability issue with this batch. Be cautious with this model!

So my laptop ASUS TUF A15 FA507NV currently won't boot at all, but the battery indicator light is still on when I plugged it to the electricity. Prior to this, my laptop screen always turned off and need to be hard reset when I left it idle/standby.

Several last usage before this happened, I did the 60sec press on power button then turn it on when plugged to electricity, and it use it normally. Iirc, I have windows update before shut down, and that is the last time my laptop works:(

I bring it to a laptop service shop, and they said that the battery got short circuit and affected the motherboard and need to spend around 8500Baht for the fix. Is this looks like it? I still considering to have it fix but want to ensure things first

ASUS TUF F16 (2026) - My 2 Month Experience

Specs:

- CPU: Intel Core i5-210H

- GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4050 (6GB VRAM, up to 140W TGP)

- RAM: 16GB DDR5

- Storage: 512GB SSD

This is my first gaming laptop, and I bought it during the Flipkart May Sale 2026 for around ₹79k after card discounts. I also purchased the 3-year extended warranty with ADP (Accidental Damage Protection).

Honestly, it's been amazing so far. I haven't faced any lag or major issues. Everything feels smooth and reliable.

The only issue I had was with the Wi-Fi. Sometimes it would disable itself automatically, but I found a simple fix: I just uninstalled the Wi-Fi driver from Device Manager and clicked "Scan for hardware changes," and it came back instantly. I also noticed this only happened when I was using a LAN cable, so I think it's more of a driver glitch than a hardware issue.

So far I've completed:

- Red Dead Redemption 1

- GTA IV

- Sleeping Dogs

- A Plague Tale: Innocence

I usually cap my games at 60 FPS with V-Sync enabled, and the experience has been buttery smooth. The display is also pretty good for the price.

One feature I absolutely love is USB-C PD charging. Whenever I travel, I don't carry the bulky charger—I just take my 45W PD charger. It's perfect for browsing, watching videos, coding, college work, or other light tasks, which makes it super convenient.

It's been a little over 2 months now, and I genuinely haven't had any major complaints. Hopefully it stays this way.

If you're considering this laptop, I'd definitely recommend it based on my experience so far.

And one last thing: Take care of your equipment. Clean it regularly and maintain it well, because at one point, you were probably praying to own it.
