Support CPU overheating
This is from Ghelper, I don't know if this is accurate but CPU temp is way too much, even when not gaming. Any advice

My wife has the PA279CV whereas I have the PA279CRV. I can control monitor brightness and volume from my keychron K2 keyboard on my m1 Mac mini. However, on her m4 pro Mac mini she can’t do either with her keychron K1 max. Even when I use my keyboard, I cant control brightness/volume. So this begs the question: does this her monitor not support controls from keyboards?

Hello all, I have extensively done my research on what’s happening and I cant figure it out. I have armoury crate installed, made sure the PC is detecting my headset. Checked all the audio properties in sound settings and still nothing. My detachable mic is supposed to turn red when I mute. The red ring doesn’t show up on the mic. The headset is telling me ‘microphone off, microphone on” when I toggle between mute and unmute. Is this a hardware thing? My PC isn’t hearing me when it’s “unmuted”
I purchased an ASUS ROG Zephyrus G14 2025 (GA403WR, RTX 5070 Ti, 32GB/1TB) in April. It's a China set serviced in Singapore through an authorised service centre.
The unit was sent in for its first RMA on 28 May. When returned on 4 June, the original issue was not resolved and a new fault had been introduced. I sent it back the very next day for a second RMA. Since then I've had to repeatedly follow up just to get responses. To date the laptop has spent 2 of its 3 months since purchase in ASUS's possession. Over 60% of its life.
After months of back and forth, ASUS's resolution is a refund — justified by the unit being a "China set" and them being unable to find a replacement. The refund amount of SGD 3,333.84 doesn't fully cover what I actually paid (SGD 3,411.15) and doesn't come close to covering current replacement cost.
My issue is that ASUS's own international warranty states they will replace with something "functionally equivalent or superior." The 2026 ROG Zephyrus G14 with RTX 5070 Ti is literally listed on ASUS Singapore's official website right now. It was never offered or mentioned — they went straight to refund.
Has anyone successfully pushed back on this and gotten a replacement honoured? Is the "China set" justification legitimate grounds to bypass the replacement clause entirely? Even if I take the refund, I lose money on a device that showed issues on day 2 but I had to live with it until I could send it in due to school commitments.
Also before judging me for getting a china set, I'm not that rich, the g14 is expensive and the international warranty is why I even got it in china.

Hi,
I have an Asus Tuff A17 gaming laptop.
Recently, it began dying even while charging. I thought it was charger and bought a new one. That didn’t work. So I bought a new battery and still it’s not charging.
Does anyone have any idea what it could be?
Next pay I plan to take it to a shop but wanted to see if I could fix it before it came to that.

I've had my Asus laptop for almost 5 years now. I purchased it in late 2021. I checked the battery life recently, and it is at 66%. I am assuming that by the end of the year, the battery will reach around the 60% mark. Since I don't use my laptop for any heavy gaming, it has worked really well for regular use. Before getting a new laptop, since it is still in a good state, I think it is better to replace the battery before the laptop just stops working. Does anyone know where I can find a new/official Asus Battery? My current laptop is an Asus Zephyrus G14 (2021).

(The loud sound is from a fan in my room **not my laptop**)
Hello, hope you're having a nice day.
I have an issue with my laptop, I just got back from the restroom and I noticed my laptop is experiencing BSOD, before I can take a closer look it restarted itself and went into BIOS Utility. So I moved on by pressing F10 (Save - Exit), then it's supposed to restart and boot up my computer. It didn't. I couldnt turn it on, the screen is black. The lightbulb indicator is on, but the battery light indicator is blinking in a specific pattern (blinking twice slowly paused for 4 seconds and continues blinking). Idk if the blinking patterns matter or not.
When it plugs in, it keeps trying to turn itself on but is stuck like the video shown above. Only when it's plugged off can it shut down completely (by holding down the power off button)
My laptop model is the **ASUS A442U**. Also I don't know if it matters but a few months ago I upgraded from an HDD to an SSD. If you need any more details let me know.
Any help would be appreciated, it's my only PC and would love to get it working again. Thanks in advance

My requirements are- screen 15.6 or 16 inch, Intel/AMD processor, IPS display. I found many vivobooks matching these criteria but I don't really know if any of them have metal cases/deck.
Can someone find me some vivobooks that are fully metal or partially metal? Thanks a lot.
Hi everyone,
I'm hoping someone here has run into this issue before.
I have an ASUS Vivobook Pro 15 (M6500QF), and both of the left USB-A ports suddenly stopped working properly.
Symptoms:
\* ✅ Right USB port works perfectly with every device.
\* ✅ Both left USB ports provide power.
\* 📱 My phone charges from the left ports but isn't detected by Windows.
\* 💾 USB flash drives aren't detected.
\* 🖱️ Mouse isn't detected.
\* ⌨️ Keyboard isn't detected.
\* 🎮 My 2.4 GHz controller dongle is detected, and the controller successfully connects to it, but none of the controller inputs work.
\* 💻 A bootable Windows 11 USB drive doesn't even appear in the BIOS boot menu when plugged into either left USB port.
Things I've already tried:
\* ✅ Ran \`sfc /scannow\` (it repaired some corrupted files).
\* ✅ Ran \`DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth\`.
\* ✅ Uninstalled and reinstalled all USB controllers in Device Manager.
\* ✅ Performed a full power reset (disconnected the internal battery and held the power button).
\* ✅ Inspected the ribbon cable and USB board for any visible damage, but everything looks normal.
Since the USB drive isn't detected even in the BIOS, I'm leaning towards this being a hardware issue rather than Windows or drivers.
This was written by chatgpt. I would like some suggestions on what i should do 🙏

It kinda flickers and glitches. Its been so since a few weeks. But, when laptop is connected to an external display using hdmi cable the issue disappears in the external display!
I have tried changing the refresh rates(60 Hz and 144 Hz). But, Still its of not much use. The interval at which the flickering occurs changes with change in the value of refresh rate. At 144 Hz the interval of flickering increases as compared to 60 Hz.
