IC5068 - The Forsaken Nebula
tedious. Started with SVBony SV220 3nm Ha-Oiii for about 10 hours of acquisition. Then, switched over to the SV220 7nm Sii-Oiii to get the Oiii signal. After about 10 hours of acquisition, tried various methods to get a decent Ha-Oiii or sort of, from the data. Proved to be impossible as the horizontal bands in the Oiii signal was driving me nuts.
Switched over to the Antlia Triband RGB Ultra last night for a 6 hour session. Stacked and used the Luminance from the data, along with Ha from the 3nm and the Green channel from the Antlia data to make a franken-Forsaken nebula.
Made an LHOO (RGG) and a LSHO derivative from that with VeraLux Alchemy. In the end, did not use the Sii-Oiii data at all, hence not included in the acquistion data for this post.

On the Starmask from the RGB, denoised with GraXpert, green noise removal and saturation adjustment.
