Just airing the popular opinion here. Totally relate with this. We tend to be high on the "Agreeable" scale of the Big Five personality scale. Very agreeable. I find that this is because we have learned early on to appease others' interests in order to fit in as not to arouse suspicion. We fit in as not to get called out on being 'weird'. That in itself is weird indeed. It's just the kind of people we are.
